Last Mamba Standing
Welcome to Last Mamba StandingThe newest—and most unforgiving—challenge from Mamba Trail Runners. This is a true last runner standing race, stripped down to its rawest form:one loop, one start every hour, one rule—make the cutoff or your race is over. The loop is 4.167 miles, and every hour, on the hour, you toe the line again. No exceptions. No extensions.Miss the cutoff once, and your race is finished. The race takes place on private land in Eads, on trails where no one has ever raced—and very few have ever stepped foot. These are untouched, purpose-built trails created specifically for this event. Expect rolling hills, flowing singletrack, and raw natural terrain that pulls you deeper into the woods with every lap. Wildlife moves all around you. The setting is quiet, remote, and completely removed from the outside world. This race isn’t about speed or flashy PRs.It’s about mental toughness, relentless consistency, and the willingness to keep showing up when everything hurts. With every passing hour, the field shrinks. The silence grows heavier. The question becomes unavoidable:Can you do one more lap?Only one runner will earn the title Last Mamba Standing and take home a custom, one-of-a-kind award built to sit proudly on a mantle or shelf.Every runner who completes at least one lap will receive a finisher medal. But only one runner will still be moving when it’s all over.If you’re looking for a race that is raw, exclusive, and brutally honest…If you want to run trails that no one else has touched…If you want to find out how deep you’re willing to go…Last Mamba StandingThe land is private. The challenge is real. The last runner wins.
Primitive Camping
Camp with us on Friday night, September 25th and wake up already at the start/finish line. We’ll have primitive camping spots available right by the start line, near the lake, or wherever you’d like to set up.We’ll provide porta potties and hand-washing stations. Please plan to bring your own food, water, and all camping supplies. Both camping tents and 10×10 canopy tents are welcome.Friday night will feature a big fire, music, and a laid-back hangout around the barn as we talk about the race ahead. This is a great opportunity to camp alongside both local runners and out-of-town athletes, swap stories, meet new people, and build friendships before toeing the line the next morning.Make it a full weekend experience—not just a race.
Aid Station Information
There will be no traditional aid stations on the course or at the Start/Finish line. We will provide water, Tailwind, and basic trail snacks, like cookies, crackers, etc. Runners are responsible for bringing any additional nutrition, gear, or supplies they may need during the race.
Awards / Swag
There can only be one finisher — and only one award. This race is not split by male or female. When it comes to Last Mamba Standing, everyone lines up together, and only the final runner standing earns the top honor.-Last Mamba Standing Champion AwardThe Last Mamba Standing Top Award will be the most epic, custom award we’ve ever created in the history of Mamba Trail Runners. This is a true centerpiece award—designed to sit proudly on a mantle or shelf and represent grit, endurance, and survival. One winner. One award. No exceptions.-Finisher MedalAll other runners who complete at least one lap will receive an official Last Mamba Standing medal.-Race ShirtEvery registered runner will receive a Last Mamba Standing t-shirt.This race is simple, brutal, and pure.Outlast everyone… or take home the medal and the memories.

Welcome to the duckDNA application portal, your first step to becoming a hunter-scientist through duckDNA.
This portal streamlines the application process for all of our projects. Whether you are interested in our standard sampling program, in which participants harvest and contribute samples from three Mallard-like ducks (Mallard, American Black Duck, Mexican Duck, or Mottled Duck), or the hybrid sampling program, which focuses on hybrids or other visually distinctive ducks already in hand, our secure and user-friendly tools make it easy to get involved.
By applying, you become a vital part of a ground-breaking research project. Through this project, we are revealing the prevalence of game-farm Mallard genes in wild populations, exploring Mallard population structure, discovering new hybrids, and laying the foundation for a deeper understanding of how genetics controls waterfowl behavior and ecology. Your participation will inform data-driven conservation and ensure the long-term health of wild waterfowl in North America.
Join the growing community of hunters, researchers, and conservationists contributing to duckDNA. Start your application today and help shape the future of waterfowl science and conservation.

If you’ve done a traditional 5K, you know they can be a bit lackluster. But the BUBBLE RUN™ is like running through Willy Wonkas’ factory. Clad in white t-shirts, adults, kids and strollers run, walk, dance and play across up to 3 miles of absolute fun! Waves start every 3-5 minutes. Participants will run through the Foam Bogs where there is enough colored foam to cover you from head to toe!
Bubble-teers will also be there to help make sure you get your share of the frothy goodness. Each one of the Foam Bogs is represented by different colored foam. So what if you should accidentally “taste the whimsey?” They don’t taste as great as they are fun, but not to worry. The foam is 100% safe.
