Join us on Saturday, February 7, 2026 for the 5th Annual Pink Walk & Timed Fun Run (5k). Whether you walk, run, or cheer in this timed 5K, you'll support those impacted by cancer - those surviving and thriving and also honoring those that we have lost. Event proceeds will benefit Play4Kay, part of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund that provides life-saving, cancer research grants impacting women.
The event will be hosted on Anderson University's campus. All are invited to spread the word among friends, family, and the community!

The Champions Center for special children (formerly known as DCEC) provides daily care, critical educational and therapeutic services to children living with different-abilities and special needs. We serve children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis, Genetic Conditions and Developmental Delays.

5th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson
Hosted by The Bridge Center Recovery.
ABOUT: The Bridge Center Recovery is a treatment facility for men seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. We are located on West Whitner Street in Anderson, SC. The Bridge Center has been operating since August of 2020, and has helped over 300 men in an official capacity to date.
PROCEEDS: Race proceeds go back to our Scholarship Fund to financially assist men through our program. The current cost is $4,000 for 4 months. Funds raised will tremendously benefit The Bridge Center Recovery to further its vision to eradicate addiction one addict/alcoholic at a time.

SpringFest and "Follow Me 5K and Fun Run" - Saturday, May 2
A 5K and Half-mile Fun Run sponsored by Trinity United Methodist Church as part of the #Trinitystrong Spring festival. Half-mile Fun Run starts at 8:00am. 5K starts at 8:30am. Both races will be timed events. Pancake breakfast begins at 8:30 and lasts till 10:30am. Tickets are available to purchase in advance from the church office for $8.
This event will also celebrate our "75th Anniversary" as a church in Anderson at this location.
First place overall Male and Female in the 1/2 mile run will receive Chic Fil A food cards in the amount of $25.00. First place overall Male and Female in the 5K run will receive Chic-Fil -A food cards in the amount of $50.00.
Age group winners and awards will be given out for both events consisting of medals, pancake breakfast plates, Free bake sale item, and BOGO depending on finish placement. In addition, multiple door prizes will be given out during the event.
The Spring festival with kid's games and entertainment will be happening along with the races and run until 11:00am. We hope you will plan to bring your whole family to participate in the event, cheer each other on in the race and enjoy the Spring Festival events, which are open to the community and includes:
Last day to order T-shirts to be included in your packet pick up will be Wednesday April 22nd. Individual shirts may also be available to purchase on race day but only as supplies last. Save $20.00 on registration fee if you make 5 or more referrals. Race prices will go up to $35.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the fun run one week before race day, so do not forget to register early.
Early packet pickups will be available from 4:00-6:00pm on Friday May 1st in the side parking lot next to the outdoor playground. Packet pickups on race day will be from 7:00am till 8:00am.at the same location.
Festival proceeds will support TUMC's efforts as we continue a legacy of serving the local Anderson community. Pamphlets detailing the local community impact will be readily available on site and be included in the race packet.

Before lifting a fork, diving off the back of your boat, and taking that post pool party snooze, hundreds of American's will start their holiday by joining forces and celebrating with other patriots at America's 5k! AND, if you are an American Hero, we want to honor you with a land of the FREE race bib! We're also celebrating the heat of elite runners, weekend warriors, mamma's with strollers and kids alike to join us for 3.1 miles of Birthday FUN! So, if you have a flair for costumed fun and are looking for a reason to feel guilt free about BBQ and lounging all day, feel like the stars and stripes are in your favor, and LOVE AMERICA -- make a like a firecracker and shoot on over to register today! As with all First Flight Alliance events, proceeds go to scholarship kids in the community to be
