Are you looking for a way to make a positive impact on your community while staying active and healthy? Look no further than the Run For It program, developed by the Tucker Community Foundation in
Join one of the many teams representing non-profit and charitable organizations and take advantage of three opportunities to raise support through the program: entry fees, team sponsorship, and race day awards. Not only does half of the $12.00 entry fee go towards your chosen cause, but team sponsors can also donate any amount to any number of causes, and all sponsor donations go directly toward your team's cause. Additionally, the Foundation provides initial funding for the race awards purse, and sponsors supplement these awards, resulting in 100% cash awards for teams across numerous categories.
By participating in Run For It, you'll be supporting a wide range of causes that make a difference in our community, including the arts, animal welfare, challenged athletes, charities, churches, civic organizations, community improvement projects, cultural organizations, educational activities, emergency services, environmental causes, historic preservation, hospital and medical programs, libraries and literacy programs, non-profit organizations, parks and recreation, senior citizen programs, Tucker Community Foundation operations, and youth organizations.
The annual Run For It campaign begins on April 1, 2026, and culminates with a 2k walk and 5k walk/run on September 26, 2026, in Davis, WV, during the annual Leaf Peeper's Festival. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to make a difference in your community while improving your health. Join a team and start fundraising today!

We are excited to share that this year we have added a 4 mile race option through the beautiful trails of RB Winter State Park. This distance is perfect for beginners who want to try trail running,
as well as experienced runners who would like to enjoy a relaxed day on the trails with friends.
The Dam Half Trail Challenge has grown from a small race for hardcore trail runners into a popular, family-friendly event with a few hundred participants taking on the trails each year. Trail running has exploded in popularity, especially in central PA, where our diverse and high-quality races have even drawn national attention.
Profits from the races will be shared with the Mifflinburg Hose Company and the Middleburg Boy Scouts.
NOTE: To receive the neck gaiter and gloves you must register by Sunday, September 6. We need three weeks lead time for the supplier.
As always, great food, friends, and music after sharing the trails.

THE 2025 SPOOK HILL CIDER & WINE 4-MILE RUN HAS BEEN CANCELED, but we hope to bring this classic back in 2026, so put it on your calendar for next year!
Why did we cancel the 2025 race? The short
answer is that one of the key landowners on the course has put their property on the market, thus our ability to utilize the orchard portion of the course is in question. We will reach out to the new owners at the appropriate time to begin land-use negotiations.
I’ve always prided myself on giving our runners a great course and a wonderful, inclusive race-day experience. Hopefully we will be able to bring Spook Hill back, bigger and better than ever, in 2026!
