A forest-to-summit trek up Gore Mountain’s wooded slopes and broad ridgelines. The route is almost entirely shaded and weaves creek-side paths, rooty woods, and ridge roads with Adirondack air and
valley glimpses to reward every step. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack.
Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy!
Trek Day Information
UltraTrax Gore Mountain kicks off at 7am on July 19, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am with the post-trek party starting at 11am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 7/3/26, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available after the race.

One choice consists of a very hilly, challenging 10K. The other is a rolling hills, relatively flat 5K. The 5k is an out and back, on Lake Street (Richfield Springs NY). Runners will have a view of
Canadarago Lake for part of their run. The 10K starts out on Lake Street as well but goes up hill where where runners will overlook the same lake as they work back to Lake Street. Registration and awards are at the Richfield Springs Vet's Club, 1/8 of a mile south of the light off of Main Street
Race Day Registration will be from 7 to 8am!

The Knights of Columbus Council 10195 of Wilbraham is holding its 9th Annual Knights of Columbus 5K Scholarship Race. Perfect for getting the whole family out!
This community-based event began in
2005 as the Peach Festival Road Race and provides the sole funding for our Knights of Columbus College Scholarship program. To date, we have awarded approximately $65,500 in scholarships to local high school students planning to attend college through race participation and the generous donations of our sponsors.

The annual Valley of Hartford 5K Road Race raises funds to support the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Connecticut. These centers offer one-on-one tutorial sessions to children valued at $5000/child
and also offer teacher training programs valued at $10,000/tutor. 100% of the proceeds are distributed to the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Connecticut.

A two loop course that starts and ends in front of the Scottish Rite Building at 207 Deming Street.
Race course is a full gamut of ups and downs with moderate hills on a scenic route with plenty of water stations and volunteers.

Run Description:
Join us for an informal run through the charming town of Washington. The course is 13.1 miles of beautiful country roads, featuring scenic views of lakes, ponds, and expansive farmland. Please note that this run is not suitable for novice runners, as it includes many hills and an elevation gain of 787 feet. The roads will remain open, and self-service water stations will be available every few miles.

This years Churney Gurney will again feature 2 days of fun at Gurney Lane Park. Saturday will feature group rides, and our downhill singletrack race. The single track race will be held on Rogue/Rogue
Extension and you can do as many laps as you wish. All will be timed and the top 3 will have some fun prizes.
Sunday is the big Cross Country race with a full day of racing. Music will be playing, North Country Subaru will be there with their cars, Grey Ghost Bicycles and Rick's Bike Shop will be there for Bike Support, along with local shops and other activities for the entire family. Beer tent provided by Common Roots Brewery, Raffles, and of course our famous barbeque. Bring the kids for our free kids race. We will have Race Day Registration starting at 7:30 AM at the Gurney Lane Pavilion CASH ONLY FOR DAY OF RACE. Come on out and race and have some fun!!!!!!!
