Join us on Global Running Day for an adventure run/walk through the trails of the 100-acre Harris Nature Center and Eastgate Park!! This 2.25-mile loop is a great opportunity to see nature just
outside your backdoor. After crossing the finish line, join us at the Center's pavilion for some refreshments. Kids are welcome - 10 and under are free!
Location: The start/finish of the event will be at the trailhead just outside the Harris Nature Center building, 3998 Van Atta Rd, Okemos, MI 48864.
The Harris Nature Center Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides a source of funding for special projects to enhance the facilities and programs of the Harris Nature Center in Meridian Township, Michigan.
Cost: Early event registration is $25 per participant through May 14th, then $30 after. Note that RunSignUp charges additional processing fees. Kids aged 10 and younger are free but must be registered to participate. Thanks to our generous sponsors, all of your registration costs will go to the Harris Nature Center Foundation's goal to improve the Nature Exploration Area with a new Hawk's Nest feature.
About Harris Nature Center
Situated along the Red Cedar River and within Meridian Riverfront Park, Harris Nature Center's focus is on protecting, promoting and interpreting the Red Cedar River through educational opportunities. The Nature Building offers educational displays and live animal exhibits, surrounded by six miles of trails, forest, meadows, wetlands and the banks of the Red Cedar River. Harris Nature Center is the only nature center in Mid-Michigan dedicated to the preservation of the Red Cedar River.
Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather (i.e. there is an active weather warning or the heat index over 100), the event will be cancelled. Because this event is a fundraiser for the Harris Nature Center Foundation, all fees and costs are non-refundable.

The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old. All runners will receive a T-shirt, and Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile. Once the runner crosses the finish line they will receive
a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal.
The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series put on at several locations in Michigan in an effort to encourage our children to run and stay active. We are partnering with the Wayne State Track and CC Program for this race. This race is located at the Track at Wayne State University (Tom Adams Field) on Wednesday evening June 3rd. We hope to have a fun and challenging event for all the kids to get their summer off to a running and healthy start!
Calling all Elementary and Middle School students: Finish up your school year with a challenging and fun mile and get your Summer off to an active healthy start!
FREE! There is no entry fee to run the Mighty Mile. It is a free race for any child ages 5 to 14 years old.

Celebrate Global Running Day with a 5K brought to you by the Toledo Roadrunners Club in partnership with Metroparks Toledo!
ALL kids 12 and under are free and should stay with guardians during the
5K. Children and families are welcome!
5K starts at 6:30pm. Also consider joining us at Kids Kilometers on June 6. Registration link - Kids Kilometers
The 5K course at Swan Creek Preserve Metropark was funded and mapped by the Toledo Roadrunners Club! Let's enjoy it together! It is an all purpose paved trail, great for all ages and abilities. The course consists of an upper loop (approximately 1.7 miles) with the balance being an out and back. If you don't want to run or walk the full 5K, come out and complete 1.7 miles!
The event is $5.00 for Toledo Roadrunners Club members and $10.00 for non-members. $13.00 unisex cotton blend shirt add-on (see shirt below). Shirt guarantee ends on May 24. Online registration only. Online registration will be open until the start of the event. During registration, you'll be prompted to fill in "I Run ..." Let us know why you run! Have fun with it! It is optional.
Check-in at the Mary Jane Gill shelter. Check in starts at 5:30pm. The shelter is located south of the playground. Use the parking lot off Airport Highway.
There will be a clock set up. There are no awards.
Water and snacks will be available at the conclusion of event. There will also be some giveaways!
Do to the low cost and the t-shirt being an add on, race insurance is not offered for this event.

Help Support Linden High School Marching Band with this fantastic new event. This 5k will take you through the campus of Linden Community Schools. Start and finish
on the 50 yard line of Claude Cranston Stadium. The marching band will be out on course to motivate and inspire you along your run.
There will be a 1/2 mile kids run that will start 30 minutes before the 5k start.
There will be no separate walk category, but we encourage walkers to participate.
Always wanted to be a rockstar? Dress and run like one! Maybe win a special prize as a Solo Artist.
Have a band? Compete in our timed band competition. No musical talent required. Sign up your band and receive discounted registration (Min of 4, Max of 6). Band with the fastest 4 members to cross the line will win a special prize for the band. Maybe even win a Grammy!
Note for the create your own Band signup: A "band leader' will sign up, create the band name, set a band password and need to register. Each additional member will then sign up and join the band. The Cipriano Classic 5K Fun Run & Walk is an event to benefit the Cipriano Children's Trust, in heart and sole. The 5K starts and ends at the Farmington Family YMCA. We are returning to the all

Triathletes throughout Michigan have long considered the Island Lake State Recreation Area, home of the Island Lake Triathlon, an epic training destination, ideal for any athlete preparing for a
multisport event. Set within a 4,000-acre park in Livingston County that offers an “up north” experience without leaving southeast Michigan. The terrain is a mixture of open brush land to mature hardwood forest, with some pockets of open meadows mixed in with a paved road of rolling hills weaving throughout. You’ll swim the clear waters of Kent Lake, bike the park’s rolling, tree-lined hills, then run the panoramic final leg towards the lakeside finish line!
Island Lake Tri features 7 different events:
Olympic Triathlon — 1500 meter swim, 24-mile bike, 6.2-mile run
Sprint Triathlon — 750-meter swim (32 lengths in a standard metric pool), 12-mile bike ride, 3.1-mile run
Mini-Sprint Triathlon — 400-meter swim (16 lengths in a standard metric pool), 12-mile bike ride, 1.5-mile run
Olympic Aquabike (swim bike done) — 1500 meter swim, 24-mile bike ride

19th annual OPC 5K family fun run/walk to benefit Meals on Wheels. The race begins and ends at the Older Persons' Commission (OPC) and travels along the picturesque Clinton River Trail and back. All

New this year, we’re launching peer-to-peer fundraising, which means you can help spread the mission. The Flapjack 5K is more than just a race—it’s a chance to stand for life, support local families, and
have a whole lot of fun while doing it. Join us on Saturday, June 6, for a family-friendly timed 5K that starts and ends with pancakes! Whether you’re racing to win, walking with your kids, or pushing a stroller, every step helps moms, dads, and babies through the work of the AAA Pregnancy Resource Center.

What if I don’t want to run? Walkers are absolutely welcome. You can also donate, volunteer, or sponsor a runner.

Can I register on race day? Yes—you can walk up and register on race day. Just make sure to bring your phone and a way to pay. You’ll need to scan a QR code to register on-site, so bring your phone and a credit card (or you can pay with cash or check). That said, early registration is highly recommended—it’s faster and more convenient!

Join us on Saturday, June 6th, for the 11th annual Jennathon 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk, and help make Miracles happen for children in Michigan with life-threatening illnesses.
Enjoy a beautiful run or
walk in the City of Troy. Great prizes for seven (7) different age categories, along with Overall Male and Female winners.
Dry-Fit shirts for all who register before May 20th, 2026.
The 5K event will be chip-timed.
Early Packet Pick-up will be Friday, June 5th from 4-7 pm at Troy High School at the main entrance off of Northfield Parkway.
All proceeds benefit JK Believe in Miracles Foundation.
