The YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run
300 S. River Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70802
The YMCA Corporate Cup, which is the former Providence Corporate Cup, is a 5K run/walk with a new route this year. It will be held near Downtown Baton Rouge across from the Cane’s River Center on S. River Road. It advocates wellness in the workplace and camaraderie among colleagues.
Race headquarters and Post-race party will be located on the Riverfront Plaza across from the River Center. The event offers a 3.1 mile course, four Corporate race divisions, a Fun Team division and an Individual division to suit everyone's needs. Awards to winners in each division, the Corporate Wellness Award, Oldie but Goodie Award for the oldest male and female runners. Being fit, learning more about living longer and healthier, nutrition and building camaraderie with your team and friends, chip timing and more!
Race Day Activities
We are planning an exiting After Party which will include beer, food vendors (to purchase food) as well as, the food from the cookoff. We are anticipating a spacewalk and face painting for the kiddos. We will also feature a line dancing segment. So bring the entire family for a fun and exciting time at this year's Corporate Cup.
Chip Timing
Race bibs with timing chips will be REQUIRED for scoring. In other words, if all members of a team do not have bibs, then the member without a bib will not be scored for the team. Bibs will be assigned to all registered runners. Bibs are found in the race packets, which can be picked up the Friday at packet pickup before race day.

Welcome to the Seize the Day Warrior Walk in Baton Rouge!
We are Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana (EAL), the oldest epilepsy organization in the state, dedicated to supporting people living with epilepsy through direct services, education, and advocacy. Since 1977, we have provided essential community services across Louisiana, reaching thousands of individuals impacted by epilepsy. Our mission is to assist those affected by epilepsy within their communities by addressing the broad spectrum of challenges seizures can bring.
We are excited to host our 22nd Annual Seize the Day event on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This is our biggest fundraising event, dedicated to supporting people with epilepsy. For over 20 years, we’ve featured a 1-mile run/walk, which is now called the "Warrior Walk." To better align with our mission and to honor the strength and courage of those affected by epilepsy, the Warrior Walk will now be a walk-only event and will not be timed.
In addition, we’re keeping our traditional 5K race, a special part of this event for many years. By participating in either the Warrior Walk or the 5K, you’ll help raise vital funds for our programs and services while enjoying a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
This year, Baton Rouge will offer both the Warrior Walk and the 5K, while other cities will host the Warrior Walk only. This shift will help us expand epilepsy awareness and grow our community support in more Louisiana cities, including Youngsville and New Orleans. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 2026 will bring the Warrior Walk to Shreveport!!
Be part of this important event and help us make a difference. Register now and show your support!
