    What’s the Serenata Shuffle?

The Serenata Shuffle is a fun, music-filled race along Boise’s Greenbelt. Choose between a timed 5K or a 1-Mile Fun Run, perfect for runners, walkers, and families.

Starting and finishing at Veterans Memorial Park, the course features live performances from Serenata Orchestra musicians along the way.

All registered participants receive a free event t-shirt and commemorative medallion. And don’t forget to keep your eyes on the prize—chase the Maestro along the course for a chance to win exclusive raffle prizes!

Early Bird pricing runs through January 11, with a final price increase on March 28.

This event is partner-sponsored by Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, supporting a great community-focused race experience.

Grab a few friends and save—groups of 3 or more get $3 off per person.

Packet pick-up will be on April 9th at Fleet Feet Nampa and April 10th at Fleet Feet Meridian.

    Who is Serenata Orchestra?

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit community orchestra with a mission to enrich the lives of our members and audiences while inspiring a lifelong passion for music. We proudly offer four engaging, lively, and family-friendly concerts each year—completely free of charge—to the citizens of the Treasure Valley.

While our concerts are free to attend, producing them comes with significant costs. Expenses such as rehearsal space, concert venues, music acquisition, and other essentials add up throughout the year. To support these efforts, in 2025, we introduced our annual fundraiser, the Serenata Shuffle, which is a 5-kilometer and 1-mile run/walk event.

Join us for the Serenata Shuffle or donate to help us continue bringing free, inspiring concerts to our community. Thank you for your support!

Please join us on Saturday morning, May 23, for the 2026 Kick for Kenya 5K!

Run or walk for a cause - proceeds will be used to fund planning and execution of community development training and projects in rural southeastern Kenya in partnership with Kenya Kids (US-based nonprofit), the Touch Africa Child Education Project (TACEP, a Kenyan NGO), and other local Kenyan community partners. Funds raised will be invested where needed most, in particular to provide educational opportunities, improve public health, and address food and water insecurity. Our Kenyan partners' long-term vision includes construction and development of a community center with dedicated space for field staff offices, tutoring and counseling services, animal husbandry and agricultural demonstration plots, and hosting speakers/conferences for educational instruction and vocational training, as well as on-site housing for children or families in need and short-term international visitors.

At that first race, held on September 2, 1983, 1,000 children ran from the State Capitol Building to the Union Pacific Depot. Through the efforts of Dr. Michael and Kirsten Coughlin, Saint Alphonsus became involved with supporting the race in 1987. The race date was changed to the end of the school year and has continued as a tradition for many Treasure Valley families.

This is more than just a fundraiser run— it’s a movement.

Pace for Peace is excited to announce the return of Run for Refugees, for Spring 2026.

Refugee resettlement is a staple of Idaho. Recent events have left these programs vulnerable, as they face funding cuts or unexpected pauses.

After a successful 2025 run, volunteer community members and students who have been impacted by refugee resettlement and immigration have come together again to gather support. Bridging the funding gap, and building community through healthy activity.

This race benefits local and global resettlement services:

    • Agency for New Americans (ANA), a refugees resettlement agency located in Boise, Idaho. Learn more at http://www.anaidaho.org/

    • Atiye Charity Association a non-profit providing direct support to refugees in located in Sudan. Learn more at https://www.atiyaaca.org

Located in Boise, Idaho. Pace for Peace (P4P) is a registered non-profit, founded and run by current students from three local universities and young professionals. Our goal is to come together to build community with refugees and locals, ultimately bringing attention to global humanitarian issues and connecting them back to our local community. Meeting place is Harrison Hollow Park: 2899 N Harrison Hollow Ln, Boise, ID 83703. We will be doing packet pickup on the Thursday before the race at State Street George's, and the Friday before the race at downtown George's, 4-6 both evenings. Morning of the race: please arrive early and get your own warm up in. We will have a George's tent set up if you haven't yet picked up your number (but please please try to get it prior!). Line up and instructions/thank yous start at 7:45 and we roll out at around 7:50 so that the Hill Climb begins right at 8, when we pass Curling. If you are not at Harrison Hollow by 7:45 you may miss the roll out. Don't be too cool to not listen to the safety chat.

Riders finishing before 10am must remain at the top of the mountain until 10am. This is for traffic control purposes and YOUR SAFETY. At 10am riders are free to head back down the mountain. You may ride from the finish line to the lower lodge and back if you wish (just don't cross over the finish line again, or confuse others finishing).

Podiums will just be the Top 3 Women and Men overall. But we will break results down by your age group for bragging rights.

Medical support will be on hand for emergencies, we will give you a number to call for help. There will be aid stations along the route as well - at the National Forest Sign and Lower Stack Rock. Finish is at the Pioneer Lodge -- the upper lodge, as you arrive you will see cones and the finish line.

    About the Event

Join the LESS Society for our third annual Table Rock Run, a community celebration of health, perseverance, and purpose. This scenic event brings together healthcare professionals, families, and outdoor enthusiasts for a morning of movement, connection, and giving back — all against the backdrop of Boise’s iconic foothills.

The course is moderate in difficulty, fully marked, and staffed with volunteers to ensure safety and support.

In the event of muddy or unsafe conditions, the route will shift to the Old Penitentiary Loop Trail (#17) and Shoshone-Bannock Trail (#20) — maintaining a similar distance while protecting sensitive terrain.

    Restrooms: Available at the trailhead

Safety: On-site certified medical responder and radio-equipped volunteers along the course

Sustainability: Post-race cleanup and trail restoration led by volunteers to leave the trail in better condition than before

    Why We Run

The LESS Society Table Rock Run is more than a race — it’s a movement that unites fitness, philanthropy, and community. Each step helps fund scholarships for Idaho students who aspire to serve their communities through education, medicine, and leadership.

Based on a cartoon by Idaho's own Steve Moore, you begin and end at the same time - the start and finish line are one in the same. This event will feature all of the trappings of a marathon, only without the running. You will receive a bib number, have water cups handed to you as you cross the finish line, and be treated with fresh fruit and massages when you finish - just like the big marathons. After the race is over (which is right away), you will be entertained by professional cartoonists, music, food trucks and refreshments...and even award presentations (you will be getting a first place ribbon so make sure you get your picture on the winner's stand!). This is a family friendly event, and all proceeds go to veterans being supported by the Wyakin Foundation (www.wyakin.org).

A vivacious, intelligent woman who is missed dearly every day. February 9, 1955 – April 4, 2008

Susan Elaine Brubaker Newby died in 2008 during a mysterious horseback riding incident. After her death, family, and friends realized that SueB – her nickname – was likely in an abusive marriage. SueB’s sister, Marj, and friends, Leslie and Teresa turned to the WCA as a way to honor SueB’s life and increase awareness about domestic violence. Their hope: “to help other successful, smart, beautiful women like SueB leave these relationships before it’s too late.”

    About The Race:

Continuing to honor the memory of Susan “Sue B” Newby, The 17th Annual SueB 5K kicks off on Sunday, October 4th at 12 pm at Julia Davis Park in Downtown Boise, ID. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt*.

In addition to the race, there will be a community resource fair starting at 10:30 am that is open to the public. This is an opportunity to discover and learn about the fantastic resources that our community has to offer. Raising awareness and encouraging important discussions about domestic abuse has always been a passion of Sue’s family and friends.

Race fees support our Endowment Fund to ensure the WCA can maintain our services and serve our clients for many years to come. The object of this Endowment is to provide funds in perpetuity for the operation of all of the WCA’s programs to provide safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault.

In the heartfelt words of Sue’s sister Marj Sente: "Don’t wait until your sister, daughter or mother is a victim of domestic abuse or sexual assault, step forward now and make an investment in the WCA to raise awareness about domestic violence."

This is a great opportunity to celebrate positive relationships with your family, friends, and coworkers. Will you join us?

    About The Course:

The 2026 SueB 5K course starts in Julia Davis park on the pathway between the Rose Garden and Boise Art Museum. Participants will venture onto the Boise River Greenbelt and travel east, staying on the north side of the Greenbelt. There will be an aid station with water at the halfway point (near Kristen Armstrong Park). Runners and walkers will then turn and head back towards Julia Davis park, finishing where they started!

    This is The Summit.

The Ultra is the final event in the Zero Dark Thirty Run Series — a progressive program designed to take participants from their first mile to 30 miles over the course of the season.

The Summit represents more than distance. It represents commitment, discipline, and follow-through. It’s the culmination of months of steady effort and the closing chapter of a journey that began with a single mile.

This event takes place near Veterans Day, honoring resilience, service, and the power of showing up — again and again.

This race is run/walk friendly, and participants may move at their own pace. Whether you run the entire distance or use a run/walk strategy, finishing is what matters.

All proceeds benefit the Zero Dark Thirty Foundation, a veteran-led nonprofit supporting veterans through movement, mentorship, and community.

    THE ZERO DARK THIRTY ETHOS

Welcome to the annual Turkey Day 5k in Boise, Idaho’s favorite Thanksgiving Day tradition.

Turkey Day 5K is a whole family fun run designed to kick off your day with fun, energy, and community. Bring the whole "Flock" and run or walk together on Thanksgiving morning!

2025 marks the 14th year that the event benefits both the Boise Rescue Mission and Camp Rainbow Gold. As Boise continues to grow, so does the need for the services these organizations provide. Just by showing up you are already helping us contribute to these great organizations – but you can do more: bring extra canned food, make a donation directly to these groups, or better yet, donate a few hours of your time volunteering with them and you’ll both be rewarded.

Thank you again for joining us in 2025 and Happy Thanksgiving!

    Please consider volunteering too!

If you cannot race this year, then please join us as a volunteer. Even if you are racing, consider one of the pre-race day volunteer positions for the Boise or Caldwell events or even both.
