    Momentum becomes commitment.

The Turning Point is the third event in the Zero Dark Thirty Run Series — a progressive program designed to take participants from their first mile all the way to a full marathon.

At 6.2 miles, the 10K represents a shift. It’s where consistency turns into endurance. It’s where doubt gets replaced with discipline. It’s where participants begin to realize they are capable of more than they thought.

This event is run or walk friendly and designed to be supportive and encouraging for all ability levels.

All proceeds benefit the Zero Dark Thirty Foundation, a veteran-led nonprofit supporting veterans through movement, mentorship, and community.

    About the Event

Join the LESS Society for our third annual Table Rock Run, a community celebration of health, perseverance, and purpose. This scenic event brings together healthcare professionals, families, and outdoor enthusiasts for a morning of movement, connection, and giving back — all against the backdrop of Boise’s iconic foothills.

The run advances the LESS Society’s mission of Technology, Investing, Education, and Research (TIER) by fostering collaboration between innovation and community wellness. Proceeds from the event will support the LESS Society Idaho Scholarship Initiative, which provides educational opportunities for Idaho students pursuing careers in healthcare, science, and community leadership.

    Course Details

The Table Rock Trail (#15) is a 3.8-mile round-trip route with approximately 900 feet of elevation gain. Runners will start at the Table Rock Trailhead, climb to the summit overlooking downtown Boise and the Treasure Valley, and loop back to the base. The course is moderate in difficulty, fully marked, and staffed with volunteers to ensure safety and support.

In the event of muddy or unsafe conditions, the route will shift to the Old Penitentiary Loop Trail (#17) and Shoshone-Bannock Trail (#20) — maintaining a similar distance while protecting sensitive terrain.

    Event Support & Amenities

Aid Stations: Located at the trailhead, midpoint, and summit with water, electrolyte drinks, light snacks, and first aid

    Restrooms: Available at the trailhead

Safety: On-site certified medical responder and radio-equipped volunteers along the course

Sustainability: Post-race cleanup and trail restoration led by volunteers to leave the trail in better condition than before

    Trail Etiquette

Please help us preserve the trails and ensure a great experience for all participants:

Stay on marked routes and follow volunteer directions

Yield to uphill hikers and other trail users

    Respect wildlife and natural surroundings

Carry out all trash and personal belongings

    Why We Run

The LESS Society Table Rock Run is more than a race — it’s a movement that unites fitness, philanthropy, and community. Each step helps fund scholarships for Idaho students who aspire to serve their communities through education, medicine, and leadership.

Together, we’re creating lasting impact — for Boise’s trails, for Idaho’s students, and for a healthier, more connected future.
