24th Annual Run for Angels: Run for a Cause!

Lace up your shoes for the teenage girls of Angel's House! For 24 years, our community has supported Newnan-Coweta Angel's House, Inc., a licensed community-based children's shelter providing vital services and more than 40,000 restful nights to hundreds of foster girls removed from dire situations of abuse and neglect.

The Run for Angels 5k/10k Road Race and Fun Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026, is our sole fundraising event. Your participation directly supports the teenage girls who call Angel's House home!

Race Details & Registration

Join us for a beautiful, certified course through historic downtown Newnan, GA. The start/finish line is on Salbide Ave, next to the First United Methodist Church Parish Hall.

T-SHIRTS: You must be registered by January 17, 2026, to be guaranteed a race t-shirt!

*Walkers and strollers are welcome, but absolutely no pets on the course or in the Parish Hall.

Packet Pick-up:

Early Pick-up: Friday, February 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Newnan First United Methodist Church Parish Hall (33 Greenville St, Newnan).

Race Day: Starting at 7:00 am on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Awards & Group Registration

Our races use the latest RFID chip-timing technology for accurate, instant results.

Awards:

Overall M/F finishers and Overall M/F Masters finishers for both the 5K and 10K.

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in age groups from 10 & under to 75 & over.

Group Registration: Schools, organizations, and companies are encouraged to register as a group! A prize will be awarded to the top team with the most participation. Be sure to join your team when registering!

Join us for our Annual GLOW RUN and 5K benefitting Bridging the Gap (BTG or BTG Community Outreach).

We will have a NEW course for runners to enjoy this year using the LINC trail!!

BTG provides food, clothing and ministry to people who are struggling in our community. The mission of BTG is to provide assistance to the whole person through feeding, serving and guiding towards restoration.

This year we have given the option to run virtually or in person. Be sure to deck yourself out in your GLOW gear to make yourself as bright as possible. We'll have food trucks and an After Glow party area! This is a night full of fun for your entire family. We love our community and appreciate your help in making this a great place to live!

The Annual Tour of Coweta takes place on the beautiful country roads of Coweta County, Georgia. Cyclists will take off from the Coweta Justice Center at 72 Greenville Street South, Newnan, GA. The Tour of Coweta starts at 8:00am on March 28, 2026.

The Annual Tour of Coweta takes place on the beautiful country roads of Coweta County, Georgia. Cyclists will take off from the Coweta County Justice Center (72 Greenville Street South, Newnan, GA 30263) and ride through scenic landscapes with fully supported routes and SAG stops.

The Tour of Coweta Century offers multiple routes: 28, 50, 66, and 98 miles, with an optional extension to make the 98-mile route a full 100-mile Century Ride! The Tour of Coweta begins at 8:00am.

Start2Finish Atlanta will professionally manage the 5K finish line and use RFID chip timing to ensure the most accurate finish times possible. The 5K course is USATF Certified (#GA19094WC) and a qualifier for The Atlanta Journal & Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.

Medals and CASH prizes for Top 5K Male & Female winners ($500 1st place plus FREE pair of shoes from Dragonfly Running Company, $250 2nd place, $100 3rd place), and awards will be given to the top 3 schools with the most participants.

Through your participation, RACE for the Orphans, Inc., is changing lives and helping bring children home to their forever families. Founded in 2013 with a vision for Raising Awareness, Compassion and Education about the needs of the 150+ million orphans around the world, the annual 5K RACE has grown to over 1,000 participants and volunteers…all committed to raising money for area adopting families.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, everything STOPS. A family’s whole life changes just like that and it does not go back to normal. Bills and stress are at an all-time high and help from others is critical. One in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are 20 years old. Childhood cancer research and treatments are vastly and consistently underfunded. Keris, was a proud Kindergarten graduate of Newnan Crossing Elementary School. She was a vibrant and faithful child who bravely battled a rare form of pediatric brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) from the age of 4 until her transition at the age of 6. She made a lasting impression on those that knew her. The name Keris means love and charity. Our driving motivation is to pay it forward with love and charity and bless other hurting families the same way the community blessed Keris. Proceeds from this event fund our Family Emergency Fund, Keris Kares 4 the Arts program, and our

Food for Families Program. Your registration helps us KARE for families, kids, and teachers.
