The third annual International Female Ride Day event for Newnan, GA, will be held on Saturday, May 2^nd, 2026! This year, we have a new venue – The Coweta County Fairgrounds located at 275 Pine Road.
This will be the 20th International Female Ride Day that has been held across the globe. The Newnan Ride is an all-female planned and led ride with all female riders and passengers! It is an incredible way to meet other females who love to ride and by coming together you can help to raise the awareness of women riders across the globe. The day will be a fun filled day with a ride lasting approximately 2 hour and 45 minutes. After the ride there will be music, food, silent raffle items and all for a great cause! The net profit from this event will go to benefit Coweta County Sheriff’s Department Annual Bicycle Build.
For 2026, we've expanded the event with a pre-event Bike Night, and registration pick up at Line Creek- Reserve in Newnan on May 1st from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and a bike show at the event on Saturday open to participants and public!
Two Wheels, Can Am Spyder, Can Am Rykers, Trikes and FrankenTrikes Welcome. We do not allow Slingshots for this ride.
Event details and schedule
Please note the following important details:
•Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If for some reason you can’t make it, or we have to cancel all together we will mail your goodie bag.
*If there is inclement weather, please check your email and the event Facebook page. We will let you know about a date change if there is a need or if the event start time needs to be changed.
• Registration the day of is from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM.
• Safety briefing will be at 9:45 AM and KSU at 10:00 AM. Come with a full tank of gas and ready to ride.
• The ride will be approximately a 2 hour and 45-minute ride beginning and ending at the Coweta County Fairgrounds located on Pine Road. This is a fully escorted ride.
• Lunch for riders and passengers will be served upon arrival back at the event location at approximately 12:45 PM. This will be a special catered lunch by Life of the South Catering provided by Bigfoot Cycles and will be inside.
• Another new addition is our bike show! Your registration comes with one bike show entry if you choose to participate. The bike show is open to females and males. Votes are cast by donating $1 and the bike with the most votes win! We will have second and third place. Special custom event trophies will be awarded. If you have friends who would like to enter a bike, the cost is $10.
• After the ride, we will have music, silent raffle items and a 50/50 raffle.
•Mad Mexican will be on site for the public to purchase lunch.
*The event will end promptly at 4:00 PM.
• This is a female only ride, but there will be males assisting with the set-up, tear down and managing intersections during our ride.
• The bike show and festivities after the ride are open to the public, so invite your friends. If you are participating in the bike show, you will want friends to come vote with dollars!
• Public bike show only participants can arrive at 11:30 AM to get registered and set up. Registration ends at 1:00 PM and voting begins. Voting ends at 2:30 PM with winners announced by 3:45.

The Ferst Annual Lewis Grizzard and Catfish Bike Ride honors author Lewis Grizzard who was from Moreland, Georgia. Proceeds from the ride help to send books free of charge to children from birth to age five years old.

The One Love Century's well-marked courses traverse rolling terrain through rural communities and horse farms in South Fulton, Rico, Palmetto and Coweta County. Proceeds go to organizations that promote cycling for inner city youth. The registration fee Includes: cue sheets, super good maps, T-shirt, rest stops, and post-ride party. The ride is fully supported, with phenomenal rest-stops that provide mechanical assistance, sports drinks, water, and a large assortment of delicious snacks, fruits and other goodies. The post-ride party will include a DJ, some killer Jamaican patties from Royal Caribbean, and some delicious end-of season last-chance watermelons.
One Love Century is more than just another cycling ride, it is ‘the best value’ you can find for a charity ride in Georgia, also it is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local youth through your participation. Proceeds from the event help support the BRAG Dream Team, East Atlanta Kids Club, Bearings Bike Shop, Urban Creek Conservation and Recreation Corps, Free Bikes 4 Kidz, Major Taylor Middle Georgia, and the DLV Youth Cycling League.
