Go Nuts Regionals (GNR) eMTB Rules as follows:
Maximum 750watts - assistance up to 20 miles per hour - Pedaling assistance only. No hand or foot throttle allowed. Automatic disqualification. Bicycles must remain locked, i.e., no modification of wheel sensor from factory circumference or any other modification to manipulate the factory set speed of the bike.
Throttle mechanisms are prohibited.
Studded tires are prohibited.
It is forbidden to change e-bike during the event even if the rider finishes the event with the same race plate.
It is forbidden to recharge the e-bike or battery in the technical zone during the GNR event.
Technical assistance consists of the replacement or repairs of any part of the e-bike at the exception of the frame, wheels or battery.
Riders age categories are 18 and under, 19-39, 40-49 and 50 plus for Classes; Amateurs, Experts and Open Pro.
Riders can only use the battery in place on their bike and cannot carry or switch out an additional battery during the competition.
Race course length will be 4.5 - 7 miles depending on difficulty. Steeper climbs and more technical than normal XC will be tested on some courses. Each category will start an hour apart and should be completed within their hour.
Races will be conducted regardless of weather conditions. In the event of rain or other unfavorable conditions, it may be necessary to alter the order of the event schedule, including but not limited to, adjusting the length of the race or delaying or stopping the program completely. Should a delay occur, every effort will be made to resume the schedule in a timely fashion if conditions significantly improve.
No headphones, earphones or sound devices permitted. Horns and bells are permitted.
Riders are required to wear the appropriate helmet. Other protective gear is optional; gloves, goggles, elbow/knee guards, etc.
Shirt, shoes, and pants/shorts required. Clipless or flat pedals are both permitted.
An E-Mountain Bike is a bike operated with two energy sources, human pedal power and an electric engine, which only provides assistance when the rider is pedaling.
The course will the taped and marked. Any rider cutting the course will be disqualified.
Any behavior deemed in appropriate or unsportsmanlike like conduct will not be tolerated. Verbal or physical infractions will result in a disqualification.
Severe weather policy
Unless otherwise posted, race will be held. Safety of all racers is our main priority. If there is a delay or cancellation due to weather conditions, racers are responsible for checking information posted by director.
The information will be posted on the homepage of website, social network avenues, and via email up to 72 hours prior to the race.
Transfer/Refund Policy
There will be no registration refunds once registration is processed. We will allow transfers to upcoming races. All transfers must be requested 10 days prior and is only allowed for races that were rescheduled. Transfers will not be allowed 10 days before race or after race.

Two weeks before Thanksgiving in 2011, we decided that we wanted to give back to all the participants who came out to race with us over the course of the year. Thanksgiving morning seemed to be the perfect time, and giving them a FREE race would be the perfect way to say thanks. We're continuing that tradition...If you've crossed under our finish line in any race from Dec. 1, 2025 - Nov. 13, 2026, you've earned yourself a FREE 5K spot in ONE of the in-person Turkey Trot races. 5K Course: Starts and finishes in front of Rosati's Pizza and Sports Pub, 415 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, Ga. Mostly flat course with lots of room to run.
10K Course: Continues from the 5K going south on Peachtree Parkway and U-Turning before Sharon Rd. returning back to the finish.
Half: Continues from the 10K U-Turn down past the Brookwood Target and returning to the finish line.

PARKING:
The Tryptophan 2026 race course utilizes a portion of the Brannon Crossing parking lot. For runner safety we ask that you park across the street at The Collection of Forsyth. If you park in Brannon Crossing you may get stuck until the race is over. Races start on time so be sure to allow plenty of time to park, pick up your packets, and get to the start!!

Royston, GA 2nd annual 5K Turkey Trot and 1 mile fun run. Be a part of this Thanksgiving tradition for you, your family, and your community. Participants who register by Nov 11, 2026 will be guaranteed a t-shirt and finishers medal. The fun run is a 1 mile course throughout the wellness park. The 5K is a 3.1mile course that you can walk or run through the streets of downtown Royston, GA. Both races will begin and end at the wellness park. During the 5K there will be one water station along the route as well as at the finish line. We look forward to being a part of your Thanksgiving tradition.
Whether you are a Hardin Valley Alumni or a local resident of the valley this race venue is as homely as can be and expects to become a local homegrown tradition.
The growing community of Hardin Valley can now boast about having their own Thanksgiving tradition as locals and others from beyond are welcome to join from runners to walkers and all paces between. Race will begin promptly at 8:00am Thanksgiving morning on and will begin from Hardin Valley Academy (HVA) and will follow campus roads and will finish in football stadium on the Track! Little Hawk Kids one Mile Run will start at 7:30 for children under 10 years old who wish to register Kids race will cap at 100 runners). All runners in Kids Mile will receive a finishers medal as well as a festive participation gift to celebrate the Holiday! T-shirt orders will be cut off 4 days before race day, Sign up early to confirm your shirt and size!
Course will feature some flat and light rolling hills through parking lots of HVA and will spark a walk down memory lane for any student of the Hardin Valley school system trekking along roads that connect all schools together from High - Middle - Elementary before returning back to finish at the High school Football/ Track stadium. See course map below for detailed description and terrain.
Packet pick up will be available ONLY on race morning on HVA campus at the football/ track complex beginning at 6:30am. Restrooms will be available on site near the Start/Finish area in the stadium as well as in academic building(s). Water will be available at half way point of the race. Please plan on parking in front of the High School to avoid disrupting the course and runners during the race.
Awards will be awarded to top 3 over-all for each gender, top 3 per gender in 10-year increments, top master runner (over 40) per gender (no double awards for overall and age group). All runners in 1-mile run will receive a finisher medal! Awards will be awarded from the Packet Pick up area anytime after the race has concluded to award place winners.
Registration fees will increase for both events starting early November, so register early for premier pricing!

Due to the size of the race we are requesting runners to pick up packets ( race number - shirt - giveaway ) at one of our 3 convenient locations on the 23rd, 24th and 25th. Runners can pick up multiple packets for friends and family. The size of the race of 4000+ runners and items to be given will make a race day packet pick up impossible for our volunteers and runners so we are making a mandatory early pick up so that race day will go smoothly for all. We do have 2 options for those that can not make that happen - 1) You can have your race number mailed to you 2 weeks before the race ($10) your bib will be mailed to your house and you will pick up your shirt and gift on race day 2) Race day pick up charge ($10) This can be added during sign up

It is important to have the barcode visible that is on your registration as this is how we will check you in. The 14th Annual Stuffing Strut helps prepare you for your Thanksgiving feast before you have it! Join us Thanksgiving morning for a 5K walk/run through Chester Frost Park. All paid participants will receive a race t-shirt to show off at the Thanksgiving table. Winners in each age bracket will receive a commemorative race medal.

***T-Shirt and Bib pickup will be held from 4-5:30pm on Wednesday the 26th (TASSEE SHELTER 877 ULCO DRIVE Franklin, NC and the morning of the race starting at 7:30am.

The first 200 5K PRE-REGISTERED ONLINE RACERS/20 Little Turkeys FUN! Run/Walk (All Ages) WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT SHIRT (Event shirts are LIMITED on race day) You must register before November 9, 2025 to be guaranteed event shirt (For the 5K & Fun Run)
5K: Awards to the overall 1st-3rd male & female winners & 1st-3rd age division winners.
Little Turkeys FUN! Run/Walk (10 years old and under): Awards to the overall 1st-Every Little Turkey racer will receive a completion award.

RACE PLATES
All participants will get a new race plate to use for the entire series at the first race they attend. Please do not discard it after the race as you will use it at any other races you sign up for in the same race length. Lost or discarded race plates can be replaced for $10.
