    What: A 4.2mi Walk or Run around Tempe Town Lake

    • Head West along the North-Side Tempe Town Lake Bike Path

    • Turn Left (South) across the Priest Drive Bridge

    • Turn Left (East) along the South-Side Tempe Town Lake Bike Path

    • Turn Left (North) across the TCA Pedestrian Bridge

    • Turn Right (East) along the North Side Tempe Town Lake Bike Path

    • Return back to Hundred Mile Brewing

    Parking

    Free Parking is available in various parking lots throughout Tempe Town Lake Marina and on-site at Hundred Mile Brewing. Additional overflow parking can be found at the Watermark Parking Garage.

    Get ready to move with purpose at the Hope in Motion 5K + Block Party on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Tempe! This family-friendly, inclusive event brings the community together to support UMOM New Day Centers and its mission to end homelessness by restoring hope and rebuilding lives.

    Participants can choose a chip-timed 5K run or a relaxed 1K fun run/walk, making it perfect for runners, walkers, families, and all fitness levels. Every step helps provide shelter, housing, and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

    After crossing the finish line, stick around for the block party, featuring games and inflatables, food and drinks from Helpings Café, face painting, photo ops, and fun for all ages. Whether you join as an individual or a team, you’ll be part of a powerful movement creating real change.
