Medical Wilderness Adventure Race (MedWAR)
MedWAR Arizona is back in 2026 and returning to the desert! The race features a refreshed format that blends trail running at Usery Mountain Regional Park with high-pressure medical and wilderness challenges that reward clear thinking as much as physical endurance. Each team must successfully complete and demonstrate the required tasks before advancing.
This is an unassisted race with no support crew. Medical training is not required, though teams with wilderness or medical experience will be better prepared.
If you are looking for a meaningful challenge, want to compete alongside friends, and are ready to test your ability to think and act when the stakes rise, MedWAR Arizona 2026 is waiting!

Children's Cancer Network's Run To Fight Children's Cancer
Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Childhood cancer is both a life-threatening and life-changing diagnosis. Based on the type of cancer, treatment may last from months to years. Following treatment, two-thirds of these children will suffer long-term side effects as a result of their treatment. The average cost of a stay in a hospital for a child with cancer is a staggering $40,000 per stay and most families spend an additional $10,000 annually in non-medical costs including gas, parking, and additional childcare.
Fundraising
Although not required for event participation, the hope is that those that join the Run to Fight family through event participation and volunteering will be moved to join the fundraising efforts.
When you register, the opportunity to build a fundraising team will be presented. All funds will support the financial assistance and family centered programs and services of Children’s Cancer Network. Thank you for your support!
For assistance with fundraising or teams, contact Ben at [email protected].
Sponsorship/Vendor Opportunities
