RABZ on D Road 5K: Run Against Youth Violence

Purpose

The RABZ on the Road 5K aims to raise awareness of the local youth violence in Trinidad and Tobago and communicate how RABZ prevents it through sport.

How RABZ aims to prevent youth violence through sport

Through sport, RABZ provides the healthy avenue of “controlled emotional expression” as an alternative to the chaotic and anarchic expressive tendencies that lead to gun violence and gang affiliation with today’s youth.

Through sport we can direct youths and their energy in a healthy direction managed by leaders in the sports community.

Vitas House Hospice is proud to introduce our newest initiative,

'I Walk to Remember'

An annual 5K walk in honour of the loved ones we have lost to terminal cancer. This event is not just a fundraiser; it is a heartfelt tribute, a community-driven movement that brings families, caregivers, and supporters together in remembrance and solidarity.

Every step taken during this 5K, is a step toward ensuring that no patient faces their final days alone or in discomfort. Your support of this walk, will directly impact our ability to provide 24-hour care and pain management, thus enhancing the quality of life and dignifying its terminal stages.

Compassion Christian Community Churches 5K (i.e. C4 5K) - Running with the Horses is an annual synergizing and mobilizing movement, that honours the major milestones achieved by men over the past year. Join us as both men and women celebrate the "Strides of Success" empowered by God's grace.

Whether you're an avid marathon runner, or first time 5K participant, resonating with the theme of celebrating honourable men. We invite and challenge you to "Run with the Horses" on the 13th June, 2026 @ the Queen's Park Savannah.

The Massy Distribution 5K is more than just a race. It is a meaningful step toward building awareness, support, and hope for mental health in our communities.

Through our collaboration with Lifeline, this event shines a light on the importance of emotional well-being and reminds us that no one has to face life’s struggles alone.

Lifeline is a non-profit, non-governmental, charitable organization that provides emotional support to persons in despair or at risk of suicide. Through its 24/7 toll-free helpline, trained volunteers offer confidential, non-judgmental support to individuals in need, creating a safe space where people can talk openly and find guidance. Lifeline also works to break the stigma surrounding mental health through its Schools, Community Outreach Team, bringing awareness to schools, communities, and corporate spaces.

By partnering with Lifeline, the Massy Distribution 5K is helping to champion a cause that impacts countless lives. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to encouraging healthier minds, stronger communities, and a future where seeking help is met with understanding and support.
