In 2017, Seoul runners born in 1991 discovered they shared more than just a birth year, they shared a city and a desire to move through it together. 1991RUNNERS formed around this simple fact: if you were born in 1991, you belong here. With around 100 members, the crew operates without hierarchy or age-based structure, instead rotating leadership for monthly runs so every runner gets a turn at the helm. The philosophy is clear: no pecking orders, just peers. Once a month, this generational cohort gathers somewhere in the Seoul streets to run, reconnect, and celebrate the city they all call home. The camaraderie runs deeper than pace, rooted in the particular moment they all entered the world.

45runcrew emerged from Seoul streets in March 2022 when Chaewon decided that Tuesday nights belonged to runners. What started as a simple invitation, show up and run, has grown into a movement of over seventy members bound by pace-blind philosophy and genuine curiosity about the city. The crew's design, marketing, and films all carry Chaewon's vision: running together should never be complicated. Every pace has a place, every runner is welcome. From city streets to mountain trails to track sessions, 45runcrew rotates the format each week, but the Tuesday night commitment remains constant, woven into Seoul's running culture.

Boramae Track Running Crew began in October 2018, when founder Jake brought runners together at Boramae Park in Seoul's Dongjak district. What started as a gathering at a well-lit track has grown into a 190-member strong community where new runners and experienced athletes share the same loops, encouragement, and post-run conversations. The crew believes running transforms more than fitness, it builds discipline, confidence, and the rare kind of connection that only comes from doing something hard together, consistently. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 pm, the crew meets at their home base, ready to run.

CREWGHOST started in Seoul in 2016 with a radical idea: running belongs in everyday life, not just on race days. Founded on the belief that the city itself is your track, the crew has grown from a handful of runners to around 5,000 strong, welcoming locals, expats, beginners, and veterans alike. What defines CREWGHOST is the philosophy that running is culture. Every Monday and Thursday evening at 19:45, the crew assembles at GHOSTBASE to hit Seoul's streets together, turning the city into a living, breathing route. The vibe is open, energetic, and grounded in genuine connection, where inclusive movement and community action drive every run.

Chadol Running Club began in October 2019 when four neighbours in Mapo-gu, Seoul decided to run together each morning. That simple habit became something bigger. Today, around 20 runners of all abilities gather to chase the same philosophy: speed is never the point. Instead, the crew builds on mutual support, showing up together, and making every run worth remembering. The atmosphere is warm and low-pressure, genuinely welcoming anyone willing to lace up. Every Sunday at 9:30 am, they set off from Mangwon-dong through one of Seoul's most characterful neighbourhoods, running between 5 to 10 kilometres as a unified group.
