1991RUNNERS
In 2017, Seoul runners born in 1991 discovered they shared more than just a birth year, they shared a city and a desire to move through it together. 1991RUNNERS formed around this simple fact: if you were born in 1991, you belong here. With around 100 members, the crew operates without hierarchy or age-based structure, instead rotating leadership for monthly runs so every runner gets a turn at the helm. The philosophy is clear: no pecking orders, just peers. Once a month, this generational cohort gathers somewhere in the Seoul streets to run, reconnect, and celebrate the city they all call home. The camaraderie runs deeper than pace, rooted in the particular moment they all entered the world.
