Join us for The Cupcake Run on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Erindale Park! This sweet and meaningful event features a 5K run/walk and a 1K kids' dash, bringing our community together in support of Erica’s Wish Blanket Program and POGO (Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario).

Every step you take helps provide warm, comforting blankets to children in Oncology at SickKids and across centres in Ontario fighting the battle of their lives. As well as provide wraparound care from the time of diagnosis, through treatment and into survivorship through POGO. And the best part? Every finisher gets a delicious cupcake to celebrate crossing the finish line!

This high-intensity event features a gauntlet of 10 functional fitness zones and 5km of running. The action kicks off with the grueling DEKA FIT Ultra, where endurance specialists face a multi-lap test of pure willpower. The momentum continues as individual athletes hit the floor in the Age Group waves to battle the clock, followed by the heavy-duty challenge of the Ruck category. As the day progresses, the stakes rise with the high-speed Elite heats, finally culminating in a showcase of synergy and speed with the 2-Person Teams.

Seawater Stride, part of the Bay City Series is a weekend-long running event. Come experience the beautiful morning sea breeze while running with some of the town's fiercest competitors. We offer multiple distances for all abilities: 5 km, 10 km, Half Marathon and Full Marathon. Unable to make it to the in-person event? You can still partake in the fun by registering for one of our virtual events.
