    Why We Walk

An acquired brain injury can change a person's life in an instant. It can affect how someone thinks, moves, works, and connects with others. At Mind Forward, we help people rebuild confidence, develop new skills, and stay connected to their communities through rehabilitation, education, advocacy, and community programs.

Every dollar raised will go toward Mind Forward's VISTA Program (Vocational, Independence, Skills Training & Advancement). VISTA helps individuals with acquired brain injury rediscover purpose and potential through vocational activities. Many individuals express a desire to return to work, but require support to rebuild confidence, refresh their skills, and find new ways to contribute. Through VISTA, they are given that opportunity.

Night Terrors Run Toronto started with a midnight run in spring 2013 when Aimee and a group of friends decided Toronto needed late-night running. No one else was offering it, so they made it happen. Now, more than a decade later, the crew has grown to around 90 runners who embrace the philosophy of no boundaries and no curfew. Rain or shine, year round, Night Terrors Run Toronto takes to the streets because running belongs to everyone, at any hour. The crew brings together athletes, artists, and everyday people of all abilities, creating a tight-knit community where no runner is ever left behind. Monday and Thursday evenings at Trinity Bellwoods Park, Tuesday speed work at Central Tech Stadium, and Saturday mornings at White Squirrel Coffee, Toronto is their track.
