Saturday May 16, 2026 9:30 a.m. Mill Run Trail, Cambridge, ON

Run Pure + Simple is our no-bells series of races. These events offer great atmospheres with nothing extra, and are FREE to Run Waterloo members.

This race is a 2k out and back, and uses the entire flat unpaved section of the Mill Run Trail between Speedsville Road and Beaverdale Road, running under King's Highway 401. Parking is available at Riverside Park with a short walk; there is an at-grade crossing at Speedsville Road to get to the race start.

No swag, no food, no awards, just a certified and chiptimed 4k to get your spring into gear. Although, the race just might be 4.01k, so pace yourself accordingly for the extra .01k.

2026 Cambridge Mill Race This out-and-back race is on the Walter Bean Trail, which is part of the Trans Canada system. Our events include a 1km children's Chipmunk Chase fun run and an 8km chip-timed race. A post-race catered lunch is provided by our title sponsor, The Cambridge Mill Restaurant for all race participants. Please note that we cannot offer refunds or deferrals if you are not able to join us on race day. We may be able to process a transfer if you have someone who would like your bib. Under no circumstances should you run with a bib that is not registered to you. In the case of severe weather conditions the race may be cancelled. In this case the race would become a virtual event to be completed during the month of June.
