Run our River 2026: SECOND Tuesday!

Description: Join us on the SECOND Tuesday of every month for a 5K race along the river. The course will remain the same throughout the summer so you'll get the chance to compare your progress throughout the year. Keep in mind the River Path is a PUBLIC path, so there will be other runners, walkers and bikers on the path, please be aware of your surroundings, headphones are discouraged

People of all speeds and abilities are welcome and encouraged. Sign up for 1 race or the entire series of 6 races!

WHAT YOU GET: Officially timed race, live results, series leaderboard, a chance for prizes for each race. Each month you run you are entered into the series race page to see how your time stacks up throughout the entire series.

You must complete 4 of the 6 races to be eligible to win overall series awards! (Age Group and Series) Each race will have a small give-away (expect a nutrition item or small running related knick-knack)

Vibe: Low frills, everyone encouraging each other to do their best. Fast times, slow times... lets make some memories!

Tuesday DAY OF RACE: 12- 3:30 at Rochester Running Company (hard cut off at 4PM) and 5:30 - 6:15 PM at the course

When: 2nd Tuesday of each month starting in April

Race starts at 6:15pm SHARP at the River Path

Cost: $25.00each race or $110 for the series

(Kids/Young adults under 18 years of age are $11.00)

From the Running Store that brought you Run our River Series, comes a new Series... Run our Trail! That's right we are back again, this time running our trails. Run our Trails will be the the LAST Tuesday of every month (April - September) We will be reserving the Hopkins Point Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park for restroom access. The plan is to run the various trails around Mendon Ponds Park, each month will be a different trail with a slightly different distance as well.

The 2026 Rochester River Run Returns to Genesee Valley Park on Sunday, April 19!

You can run or walk in-person or participate virtually from any location you choose. Simply pre-register for your preferred participation level using the options above.

Live 5K ~ 10:30am start

• Registration increases to $45 at 12:00 a.m. day-of race on Sunday, April 19.

• Day-of registrants are not guaranteed a race shirt!

(size quantities are limited to first come–first serve)

• Day-of race registration fees are payable via credit card only.

• Cash and checks will only be accepted for donations and merchandise.

• Children are welcome to attend this family-friendly event.

This is one of C.U.R.E.’s biggest and most loved fundraisers—especially among our C.U.R.E. Families! Whether you’re racing the 5K or enjoying a one-mile walk, you’ll be surrounded by encouragement, energy, and hopeful hearts every step of the way.

As C.U.R.E. celebrates 50 years of supporting local Families affected by childhood cancer and blood disorders ,we invite participants to help carry that legacy forward by fundraising. Every dollar raised stays local and provides critical support to Families when they need it most. Plus, the more you fundraise, the bigger the prizes! The 2026 Fairlife Lilac Run 5K & 10K presented by Fleet Feet will take place on the FINAL day of the Lilac Festival at Highland Park. Both in-person and virtual race experiences will be offered! Join us for the 47th annual race on Sunday, May 17th for the in person Fairlife Lilac Run 5K, 10K presented by Fleet Feet and Tim Hortons Timbits Trot! Choose to run or walk in one, two (Double Dash) or all three events (Double Dash + Tim Hortons Timbits Trot)! If you register for the Double Dash and participate in both the 5K & 10K you will get receive a Lilac item and a custom medal slider. Register by April 30th to be guaranteed a t-shirt!

Time:

• 5K begins at 8:00AM (all 5K participants need to be done by 9:20AM)

• 10K begins at 9:30AM (all 10K participants need to be done by 11:20AM)

• Tim Hortons Timbits Trot begins at 11:30AM

Awards:

Male & Female Overall Winners in the 5K & 10K will win a pair of Karhu shoes to be redeemed at Fleet Feet

Age Group Awards will be given in the following age increments: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, 75-79 and 80+

• 1st place will win a pair of Goodr sunglasses

• 2nd and 3rd place a store voucher to Fleet Feet

Post party will include music, post race food including chocolate milk provided by Fairlife! Treat your body after the fun with FREE Normatec recovery sessions available provided by Fleet Feet.

Keep the celebration going Monday after the race, May 18th, with Medal Monday at Fleet Feet the Armory from 11am - 6pm . Stop in to get your medal engraved with your finish line time for FREE! What a fun keepsake!

What is the Tim Hortons Timbits Trot? Who doesn't love donuts!?!? Participate in the trot which is a 1 mile fun run down Highland Ave. Run a half mile, get Tim Hortons timbits and run back. The perfect fun run to do with the family!

Training Program: Train for success with Fleet Feet! Their experienced coach will guide you through every step along the way with the support and camaraderie of Fleet Feet! Choose from:

• Lilac 5k - This program is perfect for those who already can run 1-3 miles without stopping but want to get stronger for race day,

• Lilac 10k - This program is perfect for those who already run 4-8 miles without stopping but want to improve their Lilac 10k performance

Camp Sunshine is the non-profit of choice this year. Consider a donation with your registration to support their fully accessible residential summer camp that has met the needs of children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and city youth for over 100 years.

Sign Up for the Series or Single events!

You can register for the 3-race series or singular events. Enjoy the perfect Genesee River Path during the summer months, crossing scenic pedestrian bridges and running along the historic Genesee River. The finish is at the Genesee Waterways Center, the home for Rochester kayaking, supping or canoeing.

Enjoy Post Race Soiree, The best of Texas BBQ, including the Mammoth Baked Potato at at least one of the races and mid-week fun to keep you going through the rest of the week!

There is no day-of registration. Please plan accordingly.
