The Columbus Triathlon and Multisport Festival has something for everyone of all ages and ability levels! Races include beginner, sprint, Olympic, and ⅓ iron distances in triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, and aquathlons as well as 3k/6k open water swims and 5k/10k/15k run only distances. Participants call the Columbus Triathlon one of the best events in Ohio because of our positive and friendly community of support! It's a small race with a big race atmosphere. Plus there is free training help along with awesome race tees, event photos, finisher medals and a post-race meal! Race assured that we will ensure the safety of all athletes, have medical support and law enforcement on site, adhere to all Federal, State and Local ordinances and implement mandated COVID-19 protocols to limit the spread of the virus so you can achieve your goals! All are welcome at the Columbus Triathlon and Multisport Festival.

Race Venue
The Cincinnati Triathlon and Multisport Festival will take place at Caesar Creek State Park Beach in Waynesville, Ohio, which is a short drive North of Cincinnati and South of Dayton. Packet Pick-up, and the Start/Finish Lines will be at the beachfront just North of the Park office, found at 8570 OH-73, Waynesville, OH 45068. Enter the park and drive all the way into the park to the last (Northern most) parking lot at the Beachfront. There is plenty of parking at the beachfront, and all the race festivities will be in the grass down by the Beach. Look for the tents and banners.

Race Venue
The Zoom RedHawk Triathlon and Multisport Festival will take place at Hueston Woods State Park Beach in Oxford, Ohio, which is a short drive North of Cincinnati and Southwest of Dayton. Packet Pick-up, and the Start/Finish Lines will be at the beachfront, just East of the Park Office and South of the Campground. The address is 6301 Park Office Road, College Corner, OH 45003 but this will not take you directly to the beach. You will need to follow the signs for the Beach, which is on the West side of the Lake off Main Loop Road, which circles the lake. There is plenty of parking at the beachfront, and all the race festivities will be in the far parking lot (South of where you entered the Beach area). This is our new registration site to sign up for the Lake Medina Open Water Swim Group. This will be our 12th year !
You must sign up each year to be a member of this group.
Once you have sign up we will send to you a copy of the require group permit and official swim cap. The Official swim cap will be green this year!
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this swim group.
The swim season for 2026 will be from May 1st to October 31, 2026.
We would like to thank the Medina Co Park system for their continued support of our group for the last 11 years.
The cost for the yearly membership is $15. For this nominal price you will be provided the approved swim cap and permit for the season.
We will also be accepting donations on this site or you can PayPal or Venmo to [email protected]
Your donations will be given to the park system and the park officers in way of donations
We can always use volunteer support to manage this group which was first formed in 2015
