Join us for the 4th Annual 988 Run Out of the Darkness. Sponsored by the Perkasie Rotary Club and the Free Will Brewing Company, the race benefits the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Bucks County. Race time is at 9:30 with registration opening at 8:30. Awards follow each race. The race uses the flat, fast, and shaded course in Perkasie's Lenape Park. Both the 5K and 10K start together with 5K runners doing one loop and 10K runners doing two loops. Runners are able to change their distance "on the fly" until after the first loop. Runners entering the chute after the first loop will be considered to have run the 5K. Walkers are encouraged but limited to the 5K. All runners over the age of 21 will receive a coupon for a free beer. The brewery will open at 10:30 to accommodate runners. There is ample parking at the baseball fields. The fields are a short distance (< 1/2 mile) from Free Will at 411 E. Walnut Street. Event details and schedule

Entry:
Registration before July: $10/person, kids under 5 are free!; July Registration: $20/person, kids under 5 are free!
Amenities:
2.50 mile loop at Fairhill Road Park, around the new park path, into Silverdale and back. T-shirts will be part of registration if registered before July. Post run refreshments will be available after the run, and medals will be provided to all course finishers.

The 22nd annual Steelman Racing Triathlon will be held on August 2nd, 2026, at Lake Nockamixon State Park in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Why should you race the Steelman Racing Triathlon? It's because this race has it all! It is perfect for the veteran triathlete looking for a challenging event to hone their skills, or for new triathletes exploring the sport for the first time. The swim, bike, and run conditions for this race could not be better and this course is waiting to test your endurance. In early August, the water temperature in Lake Nockamixon will be in the high 70s. The bike portion of the race is held on the rolling hills of Route 563 on the COMPLETELY CLOSED bike course! Racers have complete rule over the freshly paved roads allowing them to focus solely on performing at their highest level. The only vehicles on the course will be the race support vehicles assisting athletes with mechanical needs. To end your epic day of racing, the shaded tree-lined run course hugs the majestic
lake providing athletes with great views and multiple aid stations. The new improved ending to the run course provides one of the best finishes athletes will ever experience and allows family and friends the opportunity to cheer all Steelman Finishers on as they complete their perfect day of racing. This is a perfect mid-summer race and Steelman Racing can’t wait to see you there!

Please remember,
this event is untimed and for FUN!
It's not a race.
It's a time to enjoy good friends, family and being outside...(oh and wine😁)
Please just take your time and enjoy the beauty around you when jogging or walking through the vines.
This course is not designed to be run fast.
Most of the course is on grass.
And as everyone knows, there are always deviations in grass.
Please be cognizant of your footing and pay attention to your surroundings.

After you jog/walk the vines and cross the finish line and collect your much deserved finisher's medal,
plan on sticking around for some wine tasting,
grape juice tasting & free snow cones for the kids!
Plus, we will have FOOD TRUCKS at the event!
