Train with Team OutFront at Keuka Lake for a long-course triathlon camp built to prepare you for your strongest 70.3 or Ironman season yet.

This camp is designed for athletes training for races like Ironman Lake Placid, Musselman 70.3, Ironman Ottawa, and other half and full-distance events. While we won’t be on a specific race course (though partially on Peasantman and the Keuka Tri), every session, route, and coaching opportunity will be intentionally built to help you train for the demands of long-course racing: endurance, climbing strength, pacing, fueling, open water confidence, and race-day execution.

Just a note-our children/family will be at the house as well. So if you're looking for a truly quiet and calm experience, in a private lodging, staying elsewhere might be best.

Welcome Triathletes! It's time to put the final touches on your training before tapering begins, so register to join us for the 4th Annual Musselman Preview Ride (Sat Jun 20th @ 8:00am) benefitting the Geneva Food Pantry.

This event is organized by the Rochester Area Triathletes (RATs) with support from Truepath Racing, Geneva Bike, Lake Drum Brewing Company, Red Jacket Orchards.

Musselman Preview Ride: On Saturday June 14th at 8:00am we will ride within your chosen pace groups through the picturesque but challenging 56-mile course straddling the beautiful Finger Lakes of Seneca and Cayuga. Afterwards, we'll get together for a cookout social at the waterfront pavilion in Seneca Lake State Park.

    • 7:00AM-7:45AM - Athlete Check-In

    • 8:00AM-8:10AM - Staggered pace group begins

    • 12:00PM-2:00PM - Post-Ride Cookout

    • Ride will leave from Seneca Lake State Park: Lakeside Seawall Party Tent# (look for RATs Tent)

    • For the 56-mile course, choose your pace group from 5 levels (13-14mph, 15-16mph, 16-17mph, 18-19mph, 20+mph)

    • The ability to maintain a 13 mph is the minimum pace in order to make the total cutoff time for an iM70.3 event
    • All lead/sweep cyclists are race veterans and highly skilled cyclists with years of experience riding the area.

    • SAG wagon support provided TruePath Racing and Towpath Bike will follow the 56-mile course

    • Cookout afterwards under the covered lakefront pavilion - Seawall Pavilion (on the footpath if you want to leave your car at the parking lot to avoid park entrance fees). BOYB if you want to enjoy an adult beverage. Map can be found here

    • Volunteers are also needed for pre-ride check-in and the BBQ.

    • Cancellation/Delays

    • Any decisions made will be made at game-time

    • In the event of severe weather (e.g. thunder/lightning), the ride may be delayed or cancelled.

    • The cookout will still proceed regardless of weather.

    • Please be prepared for the weather conditions

    • Etiquette
    • It's a group training ride, not a tight peloton or a race. Much of the course follows newly repaved roads straddling the beautiful Finger Lakes of Seneca and Cayuga in a rural setting. There is plenty of room to ride over the 56 miles bike course, so please give each other room to ride safely.

    • Show respect for your fellow triathletes is expected at all times.

    • Obey all rules of the road as you normally would, proper cycling communication/etiquette is expected (car back, clear left/right, on your left, etc...)

    • Any open-water swimming or running pre/post ride will done be at your own risk

    • Parking
    • Parking lot inside Seneca State Park ($8/car park entrance fee, or free with Empire Pass)

Proceeds generated from these even will be donated to the Geneva Center of Concern Food Pantry on behalf of the Rochester Area Triathletes (RATs). RATs is a tax-exempt 501c3 non-profit organization (EX-257178) supporting triathletes of all levels and diverse backgrounds within our community. A separate page has also been setup for direct donations to the Geneva Center of Concern Food Pantry and in 2025, we donated over $1,500.....and we'd like to beat.
