    Across the Lake Swim Starlight

    Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Experience the magic of open water in a whole new light. The Across the Lake Swim Starlight invites you to swim the lake under the glow of the moon and stars.

This special evening swim features illuminated course markers and safety paddlers guiding your way across Tugbot Bay in Kelowna. All participants receive a waterproof LED safety light to wear during the swim. It's yours to keep, and it becomes part of the shared visual out on the lake as moving lights spread across the course. You'll also get glow sticks, adding to the atmosphere and making the night feel calm, playful, and connected. It's peaceful, mesmerizing, and unlike any swim you've ever done.

Whether you're chasing a new challenge or simply want to feel the stillness of the lake at night, the Starlight Swim offers something extraordinary.

Who this swim is for. Please read.

This event is designed with more experienced swimmers in mind. Swimming at night feels different, and being comfortable in open water goes a long way toward enjoying the experience. While safety is always a top priority, the darker setting and quieter surroundings mean this swim suits those who already feel steady and confident in the lake.

If this would be your very first open water event, you might find a daytime swim a better place to start. Starlight is something many swimmers choose once they've had a chance to get familiar with open water and want to try something a little different. Do not register if this is your first open water swim.

We need full darkness, so this swim starts at 9:35pm, with package pickup opening at 8:30pm.

Support paddlers are not allowed for this event.

Swim Buddy's (personal swim floats) are mandatory, and you can use your own or we can supply you with one to use.

The prices shown include all fees and taxes. No surprises at checkout!
