The Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) is again preparing for its 12th Annual Midtown Race for MAC 5k at Piedmont Park on May 9, 2026. Growing in size each year, this annual event draws runners from around Atlanta to raise awareness about the prevention of homelessness and hunger for working families. Since its inaugural race in 2014, the Midtown Race for MAC has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide essential emergency assistance to low-income working Atlantans.
The 5k race course this year is once again inside the park, and all runners, walkers, strollers, and pet owners are welcome. Parking available in the lot next to Park Tavern. Leashed dogs and strollers welcome.
We are excited to welcome StretchLabs to the event to offer their MAPS Movement Assessment, a quick 3-D mobility scan that analyzes how efficiently your body moves. In about 30 seconds, you can perform a simple squat while the system evaluates mobility, posture, symmetry, and muscle activation.
START/FINISH: Near Park Tavern and Midtown High School. 500 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309. The race will start promptly at 8:30 AM
AGE GROUPS/AWARDS: Awards for Overall M & F, Masters M & F & top M & F finishers in each category.

Get ready for a skele-ton of fun, fitness, and frights at the fourth annual Monster Dash in Morningside-Lenox Park! On Saturday morning, October 24, join us for a 5k Halloween run/walk that will have you haunting the picturesque streets of this charming Atlanta neighborhood.
This event is perfect for fitness enthusiasts, families, and anyone who loves a ghoulishly fun time. Whether you prefer to run, walk or stroll, all ghosts and goblins are welcome for a morning of community, costumes, and healthy competition. And if you’re feeling feisty, be sure to bring your fastest broom - this is a chip timed race! There will be a Kids Dash, too, for our younger runaway pumpkins.
Don't miss your chance to support the Morningside-Lenox Park Association (MLPA). Dress up in your favorite costume and show off your netherworld spirit. This is not your average 5k - it's a Halloween smash. So mark your calendar for the Morningside Monster Dash!

The Iota Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter intends to hold the 2026 Fun Run/Walk as scheduled on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The Organization has a no refund policy. If, due to circumstances beyond the control of the Iota Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter, the location of the event has to be changed, you will be immediately notified via email and social media. Events are held rain or shine. However, the threat of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity of the event may result in a delay or cancellation. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY due to inclement weather, you will be notified immediately via email.

22nd Annual Pink Ribbon 5k Run/Walk

Sisters By Choice (SBC) will hold our 22nd Annual Pink Ribbon 5k Run/Walk fundraising event. You will have the option of participating in person or virtually. In person participation will be at Piedmont Park on Saturday, July 18th starting at 8am. Virtual participation can be conduct at YOUR own location between July 17th and July 19th. 100% of the proceeds from the event will still go towards the operational cost of Sisters By Choice Mobile Breast Clinic.
Sisters By Choice has been on the forefront of addressing disparity surrounding breast cancer. Each year, we provide at least 1,000 free breast health services that include mammograms and breast exams to underserved and underinsured women and men in Metro Atlanta.

All proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk help the operational costs of the Sisters By Choice’s Mobile Breast Clinic. The full service breast clinic travels throughout Metro Atlanta to provide women and men who are uninsured, under-insured and medically under-served FREE access to quality breast care.
