World Help Turkey Wobble 2026
The World Help Turkey Wobble is a beloved Thanksgiving morning tradition in Huntington Beach, California, bringing families and friends together for a scenic 5K and 10K walk/run along the coastline — all for a powerful purpose: providing clean, life-saving water to communities in need around the world
For 15 years, this family-friendly event has united hundreds of participants who choose to start their Thanksgiving with gratitude in action. Partnering with World Help, a trusted faith-based humanitarian organization, 85% of every dollar raised goes directly toward drilling clean water wells
Each well costs $5,000 and provides safe drinking water to approximately 1,000 people for 10–13 years. Since its inception, the Turkey Wobble has funded 76 wells, bringing clean water to more than 66,000 people
On Thursday, November 26, 2026, participants will once again gather with the goal of funding 12 additional wells — transforming entire communities by:
-
Allowing children to attend school instead of walking miles for water
-
Preventing deadly waterborne illnesses
-
Bringing health, hope, and long-term opportunity
The event offers multiple sponsorship opportunities (Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels), team registrations, and individual sign-ups, making it easy for the whole community to get involved
The World Help Turkey Wobble isn’t just a race — it’s a movement of gratitude, generosity, and global impact.
The event course is on one of the most beautiful beaches in America! The start/finish line will be on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard on the sand of the multipurpose path.
The 1K, 5K and 10K routes are flat, out and back. Enjoy the pounding surf and cool ocean breeze while traveling under the historic Huntington Beach Pier, the outdoor Surf Museum, and the charming Main St. of Surf City, USA.
We have so much to be thankful for so spend Thanksgiving morning giving back.
This event is for everyone!
