The AB Korkor Foundation is officially retiring the Five Fifty Fifty Run/Walk for Mental Health, a bold and inspiring initiative that began as 50 run/walks in 50 days across all 50 states. During the first two years of the event, the Foundation’s founder, Adel B. Korkor, personally ran in every one of the 50 events over 50 consecutive days, embodying the dedication, resilience, and urgency behind the Foundation’s mental health mission.

As the Five Fifty Fifty chapter comes to a close, the Foundation is excited to introduce its next evolution: the Steps For Strong Minds 5K Run/Walk, a family-focused mental health event designed to be more accessible, community-centered, and welcoming to participants of all ages and abilities—continuing the movement forward, one step at a time.

The Strong Minds Sprint is an exciting new 40-yard dash designed especially for kids ages 10 and under. This high-energy event encourages children to stay active while reinforcing the important connection between physical movement and mental well-being. Through fun, friendly competition, young participants build confidence, resilience, and healthy habits that support strong minds and strong bodies. We are thrilled to introduce this new addition and can’t wait to see our youngest runners take off toward a brighter, healthier future.

Join our movement and make mental health a priority in YOUR community! We encourage families to run/walk together and to make that easy, kids 13 and under participate for free. Please note that all participants must register, regardless of age, and youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Proceeds from this event directly support programs that promote mental health awareness and encourage physical activity for kids in your community, helping them build resilience, confidence, and healthy habits that last a lifetime.
