Holden Wells, a junior at Mecklenburg County High School, has been invited to participate in Coast 2 Coast International Athletics event in Australia summer of 2026. Holden runs Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track for MCHS. There will be a fundraiser 5K to help with cost of the event and travel. Please come out and help support Holden for this amazing opportunity. Thank you for your support!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support, which made this year’s Turkey Trot such a success! Your generosity and participation help move forward important projects at Occoneechee State Park — from the ADA-compliant fishing dock to the new 18-hole Disc Golf Course, and many other meaningful improvements that benefit families and the community all year long.
Thanks to your contributions, we were also proud to deliver 271 pounds of canned food to the local food bank.
Because of YOU, we are able to create more opportunities for outdoor recreation, environmental education, and family-friendly events.
The outpouring of support was truly overwhelming and is sincerely appreciated. We value your feedback, and we truly appreciate your patience as we keep working to make the Turkey Trot experience even better for everyone.
