She represented the U.S. in 37 world championships and three times won the long-course world championship. She won multiple triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon medals and nine national championships in triathlon and duathlon. Anne died tragically on April 9, 2018, while driving home from the USA National Duathlon Championship race in South Carolina with Donn. A deer struck their vehicle, killing her instantly.
