The TSC Historic Run & Half Marathon invites runners and walkers of all levels to join us in celebrating 100 years of Texas Southmost College. Set against the backdrop of historic Fort Brown and the beautiful Rio Grande Valley. The TSC Historic Run & Half Marathon is a USATF Certified race, meaning our course is officially measured and meets national standards for accuracy. Your finish time will be recognized and eligible for submission to larger events that require certified results, including the Chevron Houston Marathon, Boston Marathon (for qualifying purposes where applicable), and other major races nationwide. Whether you're chasing a PR or building toward big goals, every mile you run with us counts.

Thank you for participating in Brownsville Fire Department Run to the Rescue 5K run will begin at 7am and the 1 miler will begin at 07:07am on the day of the event. Thank you once again and we look forward to seeing you at the event.
Package pick up is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Brownsville Fire Station 9, 62 E Alton Gloor Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526. Must register by 5/20/26 in order to guarantee tshirt size.
On-site late registrations for the one mile only, will be available with medal and shirt while supplies last. This event has a limited availability of 300 runners.

The Rotary Club of Historic Brownsville will host it's Annual Ride for Rotary-Queen Isabella Causeway Cross Benefit Ride on October 4, 2026. The ride will end at Louie's Backyard. The ride draws participation from cyclists of all levels and ages. Last year, we had participants from Brownsville, Weslaco, Harlingen, San Benito, South Padre Island, McAllen, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Matamoros, and Reynosa.
All proceeds raised by the event will be used to support Rotary’s local projects, which include providing free eye exams and eyeglasses to children, hosting Rotary’s Annual Heart Gallery (an adoption awareness event), funding scholarships for local students, providing Christmas gifts to nursing home residents, and funding for other Rotary International humanitarian projects.

All Riders must wear helmets. All riders must meet at Pelican Station by 10:15 a.m. The causeway cross will take place by 10:30 a.m. NO rider is allowed on the causeway, until we all cross at the same time. All riders must have BIBS on there shirts at the start of the ride. NO RIDERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO CROSS WITHOUT A BIB ON THERE SHIRT (NO EXCEPTIONS)
