The Annual Trail Run at Eagle Mountain Park
Saturday, October 17th, 2026
Presented by Luke’s Locker Fort Worth
Tucked away on the edge of Fort Worth, Eagle Mountain Park is a hidden gem with real-deal elevation, winding dirt trails, and views that make every climb worth it. We’re taking it back to the old school—no chips, no clocks, just you and the trail. Keep your own time, jot it down at the finish, and be handed a ceramic mug stuffed with pancakes hot off the grill as your ultimate finisher prize.
Choose your adventure—a 5ish-mile trail run or a 2ish-mile hike—and enjoy a morning filled with fresh air, community, and celebration.
🎶 Finish strong with live music from School of Rock Saginaw
🥞 Refuel with pancakes, hot coffee, and trailside treats
👟 Test drive HOKA trail shoes on rugged terrain
🧦 Take part in the Sock Exchange with Feetures & Luke’s Locker
🏅 Compete for top finisher awards
🧒 Kids are invited to join the guided youth hike hosted by Girl Scout Troop
Whether you're chasing a personal best or soaking in the views, this is your moment to get outside and do something good—for yourself and for our trails. Proceeds support Streams & Valleys and our mission to protect, enhance, and celebrate the Trinity River and Trails.
Space is limited. Don’t wait—register early and get ready for a trail day to remember.
*Since this event supports our nonprofit mission, we’re not able to offer refunds — but we’re more than happy to transfer your registration to next year’s event or to another participant if something comes up.

155 Miles Across Texas for Pink Heart Funds
From October 11 through October 24, We will be taking on a challenge that pushes us far outside our comfort zone:
155 miles. On foot. Across Texas.
We are doing this in support of Pink Heart Funds, an organization that helps individuals and families facing incredibly difficult circumstances by providing real, meaningful support when they need it most.
This isn’t just a hike.
It’s early mornings and long days.
It’s sore muscles, heat, and mental battles.
It’s choosing to keep going—even when stopping would be easier.
And we are choosing to do it for something bigger than ourselves.
Because the people supported by Pink Heart Funds don’t get to pause when things get hard. They face their challenges every single day with strength most of us can’t imagine.
So every mile we walk is for them.
Every step has purpose.
And we are asking you to be part of this journey:
Donate what you can—every contribution makes a difference
Share this fundraiser to help us reach more people
We will be posting updates along the way from October 11–24 so you can follow the journey in real time—the highs, the struggles, and every milestone in between.
155 miles is a long way.
But together, we can turn every single step into something meaningful.
Saturday, October 31st , 2026.
This incredible natural area (now known as LLELA) was originally wild and beautiful, full of an endless number of native species. But the area around it became urbanized and the city moved in on it. LLELA was tamed, eventually being surrounded by suburbia (the city, and thousands of people and noise). Now, LLELA, University of North Texas, and the City of Lewisville are working to bring back the wild. Reclaiming it, protecting it, and making beautiful experiences possible for generations to come. As they work daily to restore and replenish the native plant, tree, and animal life, they are bringing the natural environment back full circle. We invite you to come take part in that process, and enjoy these special trails and eco-systems, while showing your support for LLELA’s great work!
While every racer will get some cool swag, October 2nd is the deadline to get a shirt.
