    Goal: Improve swim efficiency, reduce race-day anxiety, and execute a confident long-course swim

    Requirements: Must be able to swim 100 yds continuous (pool), 100 yds (OWS) | Swim safety buoy required

    Focus: Sighting, drafting, navigation, cold-water entry

    Practice Swim: 1,000 yds or 1.2 miles (fully supported)

    Goal: Build open-water confidence and race readiness

    Requirements: Must be able to swim 100 yds (OWS) | Swim safety buoy required

    Level 1: New Triathlete Swim Clinic (Pool)

    Date: Sun, Mar 1, 2026

    Time: 1:00–3:00 PM CST

    Location: NW YMCA Pool

    Focus: Breathing rhythm, body position, foundational technique

    Goal: Swim calmly and efficiently with confidence

    Requirements: Must swim 25 yds continuously

    Level 2: Intermediate Triathlete Swim Clinic (Pool)

    Focus: Speed development, stroke efficiency, race strategy

    • Do not touch another rider on or off the track.

    • DO NOT SPEED ON DELWAU LN. We like our neighbors.

    • Do not pee outside of a porto-potty.

    • No alcohol inside the track gates

    • USAC cycling license, one-day, or experienced one-day required.

    • Be respectful to race staff and USAC officials.

    For 2026 you be allowed to edit your entry yourself. You can move your category at no costs on the same day to another category. You are not able to register and move it to another day.

    Athletes from all over the globe will travel to “The Live Music Capital of the World” to compete in 18 separate events including; triathlon, runbikerun, swimbike, swimrun, swim and run at both the sprint and olympic distances.

    18 EVENT OPTIONS. 6 Olympic distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run), 6 Sprint distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run) and 6 Youth Sprint distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).     We're kicking off the cyclocross season with Revenant Cross at Richard Moya Park in Austin, TX – the TXCX series and season opener you don’t want to miss! With CX Nationals in Fayetteville, AR Dec 10–14, 2025, race with us now to earn USA Cycling points and improve your starting position there.

    Expect a course that’s as fun as it is fierce – packed with off-camber turns, punchy climbs, and fast, flowy sections that'll keep your heart racing and your tires turning.

    Spectators, this one's for you too! This course is super viewer-friendly, so bring your cowbells, cheers, and your best heckles – racers love it.

    New to cyclocross? No worries – we’ve got a race category for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned CX pros. Come race, cheer, hang out, and be part of the scene.

    Steady Rider Collective is covering women’s entry fees at Revenant Cross. Please spread the word, share our link, and join us for a fun-filled weekend.

    Race rules:

    1. Don’t be a jerk.

    2. Abide by all USAC cyclocross rules.

    3. The promoter’s ruling is final.

    4. Gravel and mountain bikes without bar ends are allowed. No maximum tire widths enforced.

    5. Please inform the finish line judges if you withdraw from the race.

    6. Awards will be awarded 3 deep in competitive categories. Depending on field size, promoter may expand to 5 deep.

    7. Please patronize our sponsors.

    8. You must check in with the registration staff to be counted in the results.

    Entry Fees

    Entry fee is $40 for your first race and includes any additional races on the same day (ex. Novice riders may also enter the 3/4/Novice field on the same day at no additional cost). Note: You must register for these at the same time to take advantage of this discount.

    On-site registration will be available this year. Entries after midnight on Thursday 9/25 will incur a $10 late fee and may not be included in call-ups. Registration closes 30 minutes before each race wave, so we highly encourage you to sign up as soon as you can. Call-ups will be by crossresults.com.

    Racing Licenses

    All competitive categories require a USA Cycling license to participate. If you do not have a current USAC annual license you can purchase one at memberships.usacycling.org. Licenses are good for a period of one-year and covers road, mountain, gravel, track and cyclocross racing. If you get your license now, you'll be prepared for the rest of the TXCX series.

    Parking and Directions

    Ample parking is available in the lots at Richard Moya Park for no additional fee. Please respect park speed limits and be cognizant of bicycles and pedestrians inside the park.

    Weather

    The event is rain or shine. Delays or cancellations may be issued at the discretion of the promoter or race officials in the event of severe weather.

    Mechanical Support

    Austin Tri Cyclist will be on-hand with neutral mechanical support all weekend. Conveniently located near the pit in case you need any mid-race fixes.
