    The 13th Annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in the heart of Historic Downtown Gallatin. The race begins at Gallatin City Hall and winds through beautiful downtown streets on a primarily flat course, making it ideal for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

    Participants may choose between a 5K or 10K. The 10K will run the 5K course twice and will have 90 minutes to complete the race. The 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and must be completed within 60 minutes. All participants must complete the race by 9:00 AM.

    Participants are encouraged to wear their most creative St. Patrick’s Day attire and enjoy the festivities at the start and finish areas. Prizes will be awarded to male and female finishers after the race. Awards for Best St. Patrick’s Day Costume and Most Team Spirit will be presented before the race.

    About the Cause

    Proceeds from the race benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation, the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.

    Helpful Tips & Important Information

    • Road Closures: Roads along the race route will close between 6:45 AM and 7:00 AM.

    • Parking: Parking is available along Smith Street. Do not park on Main Street, Franklin Street, North Water Avenue, or along the race route. A parking map will be emailed prior to race day and is included in your race packet.

    • Race Shirts: Participants must register by February 10, 2026, to be guaranteed a race shirt.

    • Backpacks: Only clear backpacks are permitted during the race.

    • Costume Contest: Don’t forget to wear your best Irish or green attire!

    • Cheer Squads Welcome: Invite family, friends, or groups to line the route and cheer participants on.

    • Communication: All updates will be sent to the email address used at registration.

    • Refunds and/or Transfers: No refunds will be issued for this event. However, registrations may be transferred to another participant through March 11, 2026.

    Start Line & Finish Times (Subject to Change):

    • Arrive by 6:30-6:45 AM

    • The closer you arrive to race time, the more likely you are to encounter lines for packet pickup, registration, parking, and restrooms.

    • 10K participants must be ready to line up by 7:00 AM

    • There will be an approximately three-minute break between the 10K and 5K starts.

    • 5K participants must be ready to line up by 7:15 AM

    • No participants will be permitted to start after 7:30 AM

    • Finish Time: All participants must complete the race by 9:00 AM.

    Packet Pickup (The Station – 117 W Main St)

    • Thursday, March 12: 2 PM – 5 PM

    • Friday, March 13: 10 AM – 5 PM

    • Saturday, March 14: 6:15 AM

    Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance is pleased to host the 15th annual Pedal for Paws cycling event on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. Ride day registration opens at 7:00am, ride begins promptly at 8:00am. All support activities for the ride will cease at 1:00pm.

    Join hundreds of other cyclists on this popular annual ride that covers the beautiful back roads of scenic Sumner County featuring 4 routes for cyclists of all skill levels (14, 30, 45 and 62 miles). The ride begins and ends at the Gallatin Civic Center in Gallatin, TN 37066 (210 Albert Gallatin Ave.). The 62, 45 and 30 mile routes depart at 8:00 a.m. The 14 mile route departs shortly afterwards.

    Early registration fee of $50 per cyclist includes a SAG supported ride, well-stocked rest stops, music and a post ride meal with adult beverage as well as a Next Level tri-blend event t-shirt.

    Early online registration for the 2026 event will close at 10:PM Central time on Friday , May 1st ($50). Registration is available day of the event for $55 per cyclist beginning at 7:00 a.m.
