Get ready to kick off spring with a fun and fast race! Join us for the Fools 4 Mile on Saturday, April 11th, at 10:00 AM. The race will start at 1130 W. Omaha (Black Hills Running Co.). This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy the company of fellow runners in the beautiful Black Hills.

Those who participated in the 2026 Frozen Challenge, as well as the Fools 4 we’re celebrating with a Pizza Party at Marco’s at 11:30 AM—because what’s better than running and pizza? 🍕

Whether you're running to set a PR or just out for a fun time, this race has something for everyone. Be there early, and let’s make it a race to remember!

The Stevens Raiders Track & Field team will be hosting a Track and Field clinic for elementary kids in the Black Hills area. Learn some basic techniques in running, jumping, throwing, relays and much, much more.

After the clinic there will be a track meet for all the kids in the clinic. There will be no official times, places or awards for the meet.

Location: Black Hills Running Co. – 1130 W. Omaha Street, Rapid City, SD

The start/finish and after race shindig is at Black Hills Running Company. The course is primarily at Hanson-Larsen Memorial Park aka M-Hill. The course is 5 miles-ish.
- Lunch and beverages after the race!
- Free Rattler hats for all kids that participate!
- Custom Trail Calendars for All Entrants!
- Door prize give-aways!
All entrants will receive a custom July 2026 - June 2027 calendar with photos from some of the race director's favorite trails.

🎟️ Registration Fee:
- General: $25.00 (BHRC members: use your membership ID at checkout for a discount)
- Youth (16 and under): Free! And all kids get a hat!
- 2 Miler Option: Kids can also run a 2 miler option, starting at 8 am. And they get a hat, too!
