This Family Fun Walk/Run promises to be a festive event for the entire family. Come out and join us for the race, or be with us to help cheer participants on!

Mountains to Main Street is a fast Half Marathon & 5K ending on the TD Stage in downtown Greenville, SC. Join us for the tenth annual Mountains to Main Street Race Festival on the Swamp Rabbit Trail with an amazing finish in downtown Greenville.
The cut off time in the 5K is 1 hour 30 minutes. The cut off time in the Half Marathon is 4 Hours. Please make sure you can complete the race in the designated time.

This is an adventurous trail race as it includes the long climb to the top of the mountain.
This year will see a new course due to the increased traffic at the park and their request that we use a slightly different one. The changes will be finalized soon. Due to supply chain issues we aren't offering jackets at this time. However if runners are interested in doing a shirt order then we can check on that availability and additional costs.

The second annual Backyard Ultra Tailgate is back- Bigger and Better in 2026
Starting at 8 am November 7th 2026 we will be going out every hour on the hour for a 5k course on the swamp rabbit trail. Go for 1 lap or 10 whatever you're up for.
When you finish each lap we will have games, raffles, vendors, and football on a big screen

OVC Kenya:
Proceeds from this event will be going to OVC Kenya- a program that provides sustainable support and promotes long term relationships with vulnerable children in Kenya by partnering with local churches to provide physical, academic, and relational support to children in need within these local communities. Children are provided with an education and opportunity to develop life skills and grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The goal of this program is to break the cycle of poverty within these communities with this help.
Raffles:
Each lap will be sponsored by a local business with a corresponding raffle prize every hour. Every lap completed cut off mark is 55 minutes earns you a raffle ticket (must be completed within 55 minutes to earn a ticket)
Extra raffle tickets will be available for purchases to benefit the OVC Kenya program for $3 a ticket or 4 for $10

The Greenville Half Marathon & 5K is a net downhill half marathon and 5K run. The half marathon starts in Travelers Rest, SC and ends on the TD Stage at the Peace Center in downtown Greenville, SC. The 5K starts at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and follows the Swamp Rabbit Trail to the same finish line on the TD Stage at the Peace Center. 2027 marks the 15th running of the this great event.
