The 10th Annual Ringer Run to benefit suicide prevention and mental health awareness is ON for Thursday June 11, 2025 @ 7:00 pm.
If you've run with us before, you know what a fun, family friendly
event we try to make it, and you also know it’s a challenging course, which is why we invite you to The Stables across the street for some “carb recovery…” on us.
If you've never run with us, here's how we try to make it fun: lots of giveaways and random prizes, a water station, discount for High School / Collegiate Track and XC runners, finisher medals, a soft shirt, a (mostly closed paved path) course with a covered bridge, wetlands, a church, a tunnel, the local police watching your back, race village with sponsors and raffles and face painting and … a cool after party with a free drink, and most of all a meaningful cause.
As 100% of our proceeds are donated, we have already donated over $100,000 to local mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs such as A Haven as well as the Joseph J. Ringhoffer Memorial Fund, which was created in memory of a local fallen friend, and supports the Penn State Student Affairs Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).
If you want to sponsor us, or know a company who wants to sponsor for some great exposure and to support our cause, please click the "sponsors and partners" link on the registration page, or email us at [email protected].
Virtual run option available: Support the cause whenever, wherever (your favorite trail, road, strand, woods, or around your yard 150 times). We’ll mail you all the cool race swag as a thank you.
All registration is done online - no onsite registration - so sign up today. Sign up a friend. Sign up your family. Sign up someone else's family!
As always, thank you for your support and participation (in person or virtually.) Hope to see you at the race!

When you ride in the Iron Tour, you have a direct impact on the preservation of the pristine countryside that surrounds you. Since its founding by Sam and Eleanor Morris in 1967, French & Pickering has protected over 13,600 acres.
All who have ridden in the previous Iron Tours have contributed to conserving these natural vistas and areas. Your participation in the 2026 Iron Tour will assure these and future preserved areas remain that way forever.
