3.1 Miles 5k Run Trail Virtual

The 10th Annual Ringer Run to benefit suicide prevention and mental health awareness is ON for Thursday June 11, 2025 @ 7:00 pm.

If you've run with us before, you know what a fun, family friendly event we try to make it, and you also know it’s a challenging course, which is why we invite you to The Stables across the street for some “carb recovery…” on us.

If you've never run with us, here's how we try to make it fun: lots of giveaways and random prizes, a water station, discount for High School / Collegiate Track and XC runners, finisher medals, a soft shirt, a (mostly closed paved path) course with a covered bridge, wetlands, a church, a tunnel, the local police watching your back, race village with sponsors and raffles and face painting and … a cool after party with a free drink, and most of all a meaningful cause.

As 100% of our proceeds are donated, we have already donated over $100,000 to local mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs such as A Haven as well as the Joseph J. Ringhoffer Memorial Fund, which was created in memory of a local fallen friend, and supports the Penn State Student Affairs Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).

If you want to sponsor us, or know a company who wants to sponsor for some great exposure and to support our cause, please click the "sponsors and partners" link on the registration page, or email us at RD@ringerrun.com.

Virtual run option available: Support the cause whenever, wherever (your favorite trail, road, strand, woods, or around your yard 150 times). We’ll mail you all the cool race swag as a thank you.

All registration is done online - no onsite registration - so sign up today. Sign up a friend. Sign up your family. Sign up someone else's family!

As always, thank you for your support and participation (in person or virtually.) Hope to see you at the race!

Welcome to the Third Annual Great Marsh Mud Mosey which feature a 5Kish run throughout a very unique private property in Northern Chester County. The race proceeds will be donated to the Great Marsh Institute and ChesCo Search Dogs. The race and walk both start at 10:00 AM.

    The Course

The course is relatively flat but will pass along through the marsh ponds on the property, alongside wooded boundaries past 100's of acres of farm land and then into the muddy portion of the property and then the last mile or so will be on a grassy surface to the finish line.

Click on the link for a flyover of the course. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WA0uY7Bwf9TiSIapL_ZNMe01hAS_5Nzf/view

The race/walk is limited to the first 120 runners.

    Post Race Activities

We will be changing it up this year and we will be preparing pulled pork for sandwiches or platters raised right on the farm by our on site professional chef for those looking to grab a bite to eat before they head home and pizza made from the pizza ovens right near the barns as well as beer and spirits will be supplied by Stable 12 Brewing and Big Rack Spirits. We also have a DJ for some awesome tunes for the post race activities.

ChesCo Search Dogs will be performing demonstrations of their search dogs upon the completion of the race as well as we will have some Environmental Biologists that are willing to stay after the race and explain about the beautiful property and the very special animals and flora that you might have just passed on your race.

To learn more about ChesCo Search Dogs please check out our website https://www.chescosearch.org/

To learn more about The Great Marsh Institute, please check our website https://greatmarshinstitute.org/

    The Mud

While we cant promise a repeat of last years mudfest as mother nature was very generous with lots of spring rain. If you would like to take a glimpse of one of the muddier sections, feel free to watch a camera we had set up on the course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtttRnjwSHA

    Pets

As this is a working farm (when races are not being held) and we will have the ChesCo Search Dogs on property, we ask that you do not bring your pets to the race.

    Gear Check

This is a rain or shine event! Remember to dress for the event! Its called the Mud Mosey for a reason. Almost guaranteed to get Muddy!
