Cycling Run Trail Walk

The September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance is thrilled to announce the Rodale Park 12 Hour Challenge at the Bob Rodale Cycling & Fitness Park in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.

Join the Alliance on Saturday, June 27th, for a unique endurance event supporting the mission of the 9/11 National Memorial Trail Alliance. Participants are invited to challenge themselves by cycling, running, jogging, or walking laps on a beautiful, fully paved course in Rodale Park.

The event will run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on a 2-mile loop, 20 feet wide, offering a safe, scenic experience with a mix of sun and shade. The course will be clearly coned off to provide separate sections for cyclists and for runners, joggers, and walkers.

Whether you complete a single lap or push for a personal best over 12 hours, participants may stop at any time to relax and refuel at the “Pit Stop” pavilion, where snacks, fluids, and lunch will be provided throughout the day. A dedicated 9/11 National Memorial Trail Alliance canopy will be on site to answer questions, share information, register Cycling Challenge participants, and track mileage accomplishments.

All proceeds will support the ongoing development and promotion of the September 11th National Memorial Trail, which connects the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City, the Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania, and the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia through a 1,500-mile multi-use trail.

Come ride, run, or walk with purpose—finish one lap or go the distance—and honor the heroes of September 11, 2001.

For nearly five decades, the Emmaus 4-Mile Classic has been one of the Lehigh Valley's most enduring races along with the oldest continuously run event of its kind in the region. On Sunday, April 12, 2026, runners will once again gather at Emmaus High School to take on the four-mile course that winds through our quiet neighborhoods and celebrates everything that makes Emmaus special.

This year, the Emmaus Community Foundation (ECF) is proud to carry the race forward after taking over stewardship from the Lehigh Valley Road Runners. The goal isn't to reinvent the Classic. It's to protect what makes it meaningful while strengthening the community connections behind it.

Mission: At ECF, our mission is simple yet ambitious:

Enhancing the natural beauty and quality of life in Emmaus by encouraging philanthropy to fund high-impact initiatives that further develop optimal community living

The 4-Mile Classic fits that mission perfectly. It's a celebration of fitness, family, and local pride. ECF would also like to make it a platform for giving back. Proceeds from the event help ECF support projects that keep Emmaus beautiful, vibrant, and connected.
