Registration: Pre-reg closes Friday September 25th at 5 PM. Additional races for the day are a $10 registration fee. Registration will cost an additional $10 on the day of the event, so please pre-register! Late fees do not apply to juniors. Day-of we accept cash or checks -- no plastic.

Registration/Sign-in and race number pick up opens on-site at 7:30 AM and closes 30 minutes before each race.

No refunds will be given with the exception of circumstances that fall within those described in "Race Cancellation Policy," below.

Licensing: USAC permit #TBD. All racers (except for the kids race) must present a valid license at registration and sign a USAC event release form. Smart phone license verification will be accepted; download the USAC app for better viewing.

    • Beginner One-Days One-Day licenses for beginner categories are $15 and may be purchased on USA Cycling’s website, or on-site at the event.

    • Experienced One-Days If your categories prohibit you from entering a race with a beginner one-day license (anything but cat 5), you can purchase the experienced one-day license for $35. The experienced one-day license is only available on USA Cycling’s website.

USAC annual license renewals will be available on USA Cycling's website or at the race.

Your cross racing age is your age as of December 31, 2027 (not 2026!).

Racers under 18 (real age, not racing age) must also have a parent sign the release form (can bring one pre-printed from the USAC site and signed by the parent if the parent cannot attend the race). Kids racers also need a parent signed release form.

    The Venue:

Location: Pennypack Park, 7801 State Road, Phila., PA 19136

Pre-riding: NO PRE-RIDING IN THE PARK PRIOR TO RACE DAY

Equipment: Mountain bikes are allowed as long as they do not have bar ends. No aero bars are allowed.

Clothing: Helmets are required for all riders on bicycles, even when not actively racing (eg, while riding from the parking lot). Per USAC regulations, racers must wear a jersey with sleeves covering the shoulders. No tank tops are allowed. Race radios and earphones for playback (eg, mp3 player) are not allowed while racing.

Staging: All racers should present to the start grid 15 minutes prior to the start of their race.

Call up Protocol: The call-up protocol will be based on Race Predictor rankings as posted on Crossresults.com, followed by order of pre-registration. ALL CALL-UPS WILL BE BASED ON PRE-REGISTRATION. DAY-OF REGISTRATIONS WILL START AT THE BACK OF THE FIELD. Call-up protocol for the Cat 4/5 Men and 9-14 Men and Women will be based on order of registration. Bib number will indicate your start grid position. NOTE: IF YOU ARE RANKED, BUT DO NOT PRE-REGISTER, YOU FORFEIT YOUR CALL-UP PLACEMENT AND WILL BE PLACED ON THE START GRID BEHIND THE LAST PRE-REGISTERED RACERS.

FOR YOUR BEST POSITION ON THE GRID, PRE-REGISTER!

Lapped riders: Lapped riders will finish on the same lap as the leader. Riders being passed must yield and not interfere with the progress of passing riders. The officials will provide any necessary additional instructions prior to the start (such as whether or not riders will be pulled from the race prior to the end).

Results: The first three finishers of each race should report to the podium immediately after the race for podium photos. The protest period starts at posting and lasts 15 minutes. It is the rider's responsibility to have all errors corrected during the protest period. After results are final awards will be available at registration.

Kids Race: A fun kids race will start at 12:30 pm for kids too young to race on the real course. A parent must sign the event release form prior to the race, and each kid will be given a race number. Pedal bikes or strider bikes are acceptable. All entrants will receive prizes for participation.

    Food: TBD

    Restrooms: TBD

Race Cancellation Policy: If weather conditions are such that the race would cause significant damage to the property, e.g., heavy rains and water drenched grounds prior to and during the event, the race may be canceled. The race promoter will make every attempt to determine prior to race day if the race needs to be canceled, however, under extreme conditions part or all of the races may need to be canceled on the day of the race. Every effort will be made to hold the race, including making course modifications if necessary. If the race is canceled on the day prior to the race, notification will be sent to all pre-registered racers via email, and via the race's Facebook page. If the race is canceled in part or whole as described, then registration fees, minus Bikereg fees, will be refunded to those racers.
