Strokes, Spokes & Strides is a sprint distance triathlon located in beautiful Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. The inaugural event was held in 2015 as a celebration of the Waynesboro Area YMCA 100 year
anniversary. Our goal was to create an event that would promote community spirit and welcome all levels of athlete.
The triathlon course can be completed as an individual or as part of a three person relay team. Athletes of all levels are encouraged to compete – experienced cross trainers, families as well as first time competitors.
The triathlon start, swim, transition area and finish are located at the Y. The swim portion of the event is held in the Y’s six-lane, 25meter pool; the bike and run routes will take athletes through tree lined neighborhoods and farmland throughout Waynesboro.
We’re also excited to offer two additional race day events: Aquavelo (swim/bike) and Duathlon (run/bike/run).

Join 100.7 The Bay as we lace up our sneakers, tease up our hair, and crank our adrenaline to eleven! The Rock 'n Run 5K is hitting the streets of Westminster, Md. and turning every mile into a
music-fueled, high-voltage experience! Whether you’re a weekend warrior, a record-breaking speedster, or a backstage newbie, this 5K is your headlining gig.
Westminster may be known for its quiet country roads, but this is a full-blown arena tour on asphalt. As you wind through the course, every mile is its own setlist, blaring iconic riffs and anthems from decades of classic rock legends. We’ve got bands, DJs, and surprise jam sessions stationed along the route — because nothing powers a runner like a power chord.
Cross the finish and earn your rock-star-worthy medal, your backstage pass to bragging rights, and maybe even your very own “encore” as the crowd cheers you in. Costumes, band tees, and plenty of air guitar moves are highly encouraged. Whether you’re a first-time 5K’er or a road race veteran, the Rock 'n Run 5K is your chance to run like a legend, party like a fan, and leave the course shouting “Encore!”
