NEVER LET WINTER WIN!! Join us in December, January and February for a fabulous community 5K. Run or walk the same course each month challenging yourself to get better each time even by one second! Register for one, two or all three in the PRC Winter 5K Series. This is a fun way to keep in shape! Yummy treats after each race. Stay for our awards ceremony & raffle. This race will happen in spite of the weather. We will adjust course and distance if neccesary. Rain, snow, wind, sleet...NEVER LET WINTER WIN!

We are excited to announce the 15th edition of the annual Bowerman 5k!

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, July 25th, at Nike WHQ. In addition to the main event, we are bringing back the free elementary school 1km race before the running of our annual 5k.

SCHEDULE

9:30am Kids 1k Race (FREE!)

10:05am Bowerman 5k

LOCATION/COURSE:

Held at the Nike World Headquarters, participants will run a closed-off interior road within the campus. The smooth tarmac loops around the beautiful Nike WHQ campus, starting and finishing at the Lebron James Courtyard. Race-bib pickup, vendors, and giveaways will take place in the Mia Hamm Courtyard close to the start line.

TEAMS:

Calling all Clubs, Corporate teams, and Social Groups!

Whether you're part of a run club, a corporate team, or a social group of friends and family, we encourage you to register as a team! You must have 5 runners to complete a team. The largest team will earn free entries to the 2027 Bowerman 5k!

CLUBS + ELITES

Clubs are encouraged to create and register as a team, see information above.

FUNDRAISING:

Help us continue to support athletes chasing their dreams within the BTC Community.

All donations will go directly toward scholarship opportunities to support race opportunities for athletes in the Bowerman Youth Cross Country and Track Program.

ABOUT

Started in 2010, the Bowerman 5k is an annual road race held in the month of July at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon. The 5k is a great opportunity to get the whole family involved in a fun and active event. Our competitors include young kids, stroller walkers, competitive masters and elite runners, and we encourage all ages and abilities to come and join the fun. If you’re looking for a 5k personal best, the course is a fast one! Over the years, the race’s popularity has grown and in 2015 it was rated as one of the 7 Must-Do 5k Races in the United States by Competitor Magazine.

Free ORRC Member Poker Run/Walk!

This event is free for ORRC members who pre-register (and $25 for non-members). Everyone in the community is welcome!

Come one, come all! And don't stress about an accurate distance or time! This is just a fun way to spend Labor Day holiday morning. Don't be concerned about how fast or slow you are… the only thing that matters is your poker hand!

What is the Poker Run?

The Poker Run/Walk is a 5K course consisting of 3 out-and-back legs all within Greenway Park in Beaverton, starting and finishing at Tractor Park

The event is capped at 150 participants (due to limitations of the bike trail, and limited port-a-pottie!!! (there is only one in the park near the start area, and we are not allowed to bring in any more so... "GO BEFORE YOU GO!")

NOTE: There is no day of race registration!

Event Start Times:

-7:00 a.m. Registration opens

-7:45 a.m. Start of the 5K Walk

-8:00 a.m. Start of the 5K Run

-The course will close at 10 a.m.
