Put yourself on island time! Make it a weekend getaway! The 43rd annual Kelleys Island 5 & 10K Run/Walk will be hosted by the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The cannon goes off for the start of the races at 10:45 am from Memorial Park. Participants will enjoy a scenic island route along the lakefront and will be provided with water stations along the race route. After the race, it is time to... stay, play, explore, shop, dine, and relax around Kelleys Island.
** An early bird rate of $30 per participant will be available to those who pre-register online before midnight of April 30th.
** Register before midnight May 1st to be guaranteed a race shirt.
** The first 250 registered receive race bag
** Pre-Race Packet pick up will be held at Docker's Waterfront Bar & Restaurant from 2-4 pm on Saturday, May 30th, and on race day starting at 8:00AM in Memorial Park. Please note:
** Transportation Information to the island can be found at Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line https://www.kelleysislandferry.com/ and at the Jet Express https://www.jet-express.com/
** This event is on an island. All transportation provided by the Jet Express and Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line is weather-dependent. Please be aware of the weather conditions and how it will affect the ferry service to and from the island on the day of the race. It will be your responsibility to stay updated on inclement weather conditions via Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line and Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce FACEBOOK page.
** Awards will be given to the top one overall male and female participants in the 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run, along with the top three males and females in the following age groups (both 5K Run and 10K Run): 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
Chip timing will be provided by Advanced Sports Timing. Results will be posted live and available as soon as the participant finishes!

The Castalia Cold Creek 5K Race is on July 18, 2026, starting at 8:15! Enjoy an accurately marked out and back course (3.1 mile) 5K! Scenic in town and rural setting with some hills. Start and Finish in downtown Castalia, with mile splits and water stop. Pre-Race Packet pick-up will be on Friday, July 17 from 4:00-7:00p.m. at The Cold Creek Registration Table, the Opening Night of The Festival.
Awards will be distributed immediately after the race. Awards will be, 1st Male and Female Overall Runner; 1st Male and Female Overall Walkers; Top 3 Finishers in each age group (Male and Female) will be as follows: 14 & Under; 15-19; 20-25; 26-30; 31-35; 36-40; 41-45; 46-50; 51-55; 56--60; 61-65; 66-70; 71-75; 76-80; 81-85; 86-90; 91 +

$35.00 Registration Fee Day of Race, with check in and registration starting at 7:15a.m., at the intersection of Main Street and Water Street, in downtown Castalia! Refreshments will be served after the race.

Beulah Beach, located halfway between Vermilion and Huron, is a Christian camp and retreat center. The proceeds from the 5K and Kids Fun Run will go towards our new Pickle-ball courts.
The Kids' Fun Run (roads only) will be at 6pm with the 5K shortly after. The 5K will be on roads, grass covered fields and wooded trails. While most of the 5K is flat there are some small hills included.
At the conclusion of the award presentation there will be food trucks, lake swimming, zip-lines and music. Fun for the whole family!
Race shirts will be given to the first 50 registered for the Fun Run and first 100 registered for the 5K.
