The Castalia Cold Creek 5K Race is on July 18, 2026, starting at 8:15! Enjoy an accurately marked out and back course (3.1 mile) 5K! Scenic in town and rural setting with some hills. Start and Finish in downtown Castalia, with mile splits and water stop. Pre-Race Packet pick-up will be on Friday, July 17 from 4:00-7:00p.m. at The Cold Creek Registration Table, the Opening Night of The Festival.

Awards will be distributed immediately after the race. Awards will be, 1st Male and Female Overall Runner; 1st Male and Female Overall Walkers; Top 3 Finishers in each age group (Male and Female) will be as follows: 14 & Under; 15-19; 20-25; 26-30; 31-35; 36-40; 41-45; 46-50; 51-55; 56--60; 61-65; 66-70; 71-75; 76-80; 81-85; 86-90; 91 +

$30.00 Pre-registration Fee before Midnight on July 15, 2026 will guarantee you a race shirt.

$35.00 Registration Fee Day of Race, with check in and registration starting at 7:15a.m., at the intersection of Main Street and Water Street, in downtown Castalia! Refreshments will be served after the race.

    Do you know someone with breast cancer, or someone who had breast cancer? You're probably nodding your head 'yes' because breast cancer is the most common reportable cancer among women in Ohio, regardless of race. In our buckeye state, it accounts for 28 percent of all cancers diagnosed in women.

    This fall let's join the fight to "Save the Pumpkins" with a 5K run/walk through our beautiful, lakefront Sandusky, Ohio.

    All proceeds will benefit The Foundations for the following North Coast Healthcare Collaborative Hospital Systems: Firelands Health, Fisher-Titus, and Magruder Hospital.

    The North Coast Healthcare Collaborative will use the funds to invest in patient support, breakthrough equipment, and research to prevent, diagnose and cure breast cancer. Donations from friends and family who do not wish to race, but would like to support the cause, are encouraged.

    Go Bucks and Go Blue during this 10th annual event in downtown Sandusky. There isn’t a better way to start the morning of the Ohio State/Michigan game day than “Dotting the i” or “Blocking the M.” And you can do both in this one-of-a-kind event. There is no other city with a unique street grid like Sandusky's to complete this kind of course.

    The “Dot the i” course is approximately 5 miles and the “Block the M” course is approximately 4 miles.

    (Note: The "Dot the i" finish line will close at 10:30 a.m. Any participants unable to finish the course within that time are recommended to complete the Big O course instead)

    The OH-IO Two-person relay. Split the Script Ohio course with one other person and each of you complete about 2.5 miles of the course.

    The Big O, a one-mile walk option to complete just the O in Ohio.

    Registered Participants (By November 12, 2026) receive long-sleeved shirts and are to use sidewalks and obey all traffic laws during the event.

    PLACE: Monroe Street at Cameo Pizza and Central Park

    COURSE: Ohio State fans will start at Cameo Pizza and run/walk the sidewalks of Sandusky completing Script Ohio (approx. 5 miles) and “Dot the i” at the finish. Michigan fans will start and finish at Cameo Pizza and run/walk the sidewalks of Sandusky completing the Block M (approx. 4 miles).

    DATE: Saturday, November 28, 2026 (Date subject to change if The Game is scheduled for a different weekend than tradition)

    TIME: Race Day starting at 8 a.m., Pre-Race Day Packet Pick-Up: TBD

    ENTRY FEE: EARLY SIGN-UP SPECIAL THROUGH 2/28- $25.00!
