RACE START TIME: 6:30 p.m.
PARKING: George Rogers Clark State Park (936 South Tecumseh Road, Springfield, OH)
DIRECTIONS: From Dayton follow S.R. 4 northeast past I-70. Follow brown information signs to George Rogers Clark Park. On a GPS you could use coordinates: Latitude: 39.908908 Longitude: -83.910044
REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race. Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race. Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.
CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip.
We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up prior to the race start.
FEES:
All Current ORRRC Members Run for Free (Fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used, or bring your card/proof of membership to the event)
Non-Members:
– $10 for ages 15 and up
– Free for ages 14 and under
Members, if you don't register through RunSignup, you absolutely MUST show proof of membership on race day to be eligible for the member fees! No exceptions!

AWARDS: First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (40 and over), First Grand Master Male/Female (50 and over), First Male/Female Senior (60 and over) – Recipients of overall awards are not eligible for age group awards. Age group categories : 9 and under (non-competitive, all finishers are winners), 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & up.
ANIMAL POLICY: Due to our insurance coverage, animals are not permitted at any ORRRC event. The only exception is service dogs, which must be clearly identified. Persons with any other animals will be removed from the event (will not be issued a timing chip, and will not appear in results or photos). We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

The Dayton Triathlon and Multisport Festival has something for everyone, including all ages and ability levels! Races include kids, beginner, sprint, Olympic, and ⅓ iron distances in triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, and aquathlons, open runs, and various open swim distances. We are athletes who want to foster a love of multisport training and racing, by hosting fun, safe, and challenging races. Racers call this race one of the best events in Ohio because of our positive, friendly atmosphere. Plus we have a post race meal (bbq, hot dogs, veggies, ice cream and more…) for athletes and spectators, designer tees in gender-specific cuts, in-race pictures, and finisher medals. Come race with us, all are welcome.
NOTE: Youth and College discounts come off at the end of the registration process; discount codes can be used at that time as well.

Race Venue
The race will take place at Buck Creek State Park Beach in Springfield, Ohio, which is a short drive North from Dayton and West of Columbus.
Packet Pick-up, and the Start/Finish Lines will be at the beachfront, across from the park office at 1976 Buck Creek Ln., Springfield, OH 45502. There is plenty of parking at the beachfront, and all the race festivities will be in the far parking lot (farthest from the entrance South of the Park Office). There will be parking available at the beachfront; there are restrooms there as well.

🦃 ORRRC Turkey Hunt Map & Compass Challenge
📍 George Rogers Clark Park
⏰ Start Time: 2:00 PM | Time Limit: 2 hours
📝 Registration: Opens at 12:00 PM
Join us for the ORRRC Turkey Hunt Orienteering Challenge—a fun test of speed, navigation, and strategy!
🏅 Finisher Awards: Presented to the top 50 finishers.
✨ Pre-Race Training (Optional):
At 12:00 PM, a simple practice course will be available for first-time participants (come to the race start area)
At 12:30 PM, the Miami Valley Orienteering Club will offer a voluntary intro session—perfect for newcomers or anyone wanting a quick refresher. This will also take place at the race start area.
🧭 How It Works:
Two hour time limit to find as many controls as possible and make it back to the finish.
Find controls in any order.
Controls are worth five (5) points each with one (1) point penalty for each minute late.
🧭 What is Orienteering?
It’s an outdoor adventure sport where participants use a detailed map and compass to navigate through a series of checkpoints. Think of it as a mix of cross-country running and treasure hunting!
