    A forest-forged trek through Greek Peak’s rolling ridges and quiet hardwood glades. The route winds along shaded single-track, creek-cut valleys, and steady ridge climbs with glimpses across the Finger Lakes foothills. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack.

    Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy!

    Trek Day Information

    UltraTrax Greek Peak kicks off at 7am on May 9, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am with the post-trek party starting at 11am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 4/21/26, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available after the race.

    All Level Challenge: UltraTrax is designed for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Bring a friend and level up the route by adding weight to carry!

    Fun Atmosphere: Enjoy the lively setting with fellow adventurers. Spectators and participants can also enjoy on site activities like zip lines, waterpark, mountain coaster, and more!

    Delicious Base Camp Food: Base Camp welcomes guests a relaxing and energetic area to celebrate with friends and family.

    Fun Run – 10am. 5k – 10:30am

    On Saturday, May 30, 2026, runners, their families, and spectators will gather at the Trumansburg Elementary School to take part in the May Day 5K & Fun Run, a tradition that started 13 years ago!

    This great community event highlights fun, fitness, and families with proceeds directly benefiting the Trumansburg Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO), as well as the Trumansburg Education Foundation (TEF).

    We are proud to host the Trumansburg Girls on the Run Team to finish their season with a 5K in their own hometown. We would love for you to join us in supporting this important wellness event.

    Girls on the Run participants, please do not sign up for the MayDay5k on this site. Registration will be included with your Girls on the Run registration.

    We are excited to be back in 2026!!

    Finger Lakes Triathlon Cayuga is located in the The Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York, home to a number of world famous wineries. Taughannock Falls State Park, about 8 miles north of Ithaca, provides a picturesque setting for the whole family to enjoy the triathlon, along with public swimming, a playground, shaded picnic areas and hiking trails. Tent, RV and cabin camping is available, and the Park maintains a marina with a boat ramp for access to Cayuga Lake. The park is an excellent spot for families with a beach and swim area and large playground.
