This year is our 6th Annual Naples Youth Corporation 5k/10k!! We are happy to say our race will again be the beginning of May on the 2nd. And, wait until you see our beautiful outdoor stage!!! We will have music and announcements on the Naples Youth Corporation's brand new outdoor stage this year!! Please know that a significant amount of the funds received from our past 5 years of races helped support the planning and design costs as well as the direct costs of construction. The Naples Youth Corporation is grateful for all your past support and hope you will return once again!!

Youth 18 and under - please register under the "Youth" 5k or 10k race designation to receive your free shirt. Create a team of 5, and the team with the fastest time will win a gift certificate to one of our fine local establishment! Best of luck!

New this year - KID'S DASH @ 8:20am - 2 waves of our adorable younger runners who don't want to run a full 5k will run a short distance prior to our 5k/10k start. Youth ages 2-5 will run first, followed by kids aged 6-10 in a second wave. No registration required, just sign up with an email or on race day.

As always, we will run or walk in wind, rain, snow, or shine, and last year, we did just that - it was a chilly, wet day. We hope to see you once again with some sun this time. This run/walk still remains the major fundraiser for the Naples Youth Corporation.

Due to increased costs of supplies, performance tech race shirts will be available for purchase for adults, but our cotton shirts remain FREE for youth - thank you to our sponsors... There will be shirts available to purchase when you pick up your packet - first come first serve.

Financial assistance is available for youth registrations - please email for more information. As in previous years, 12 and under are free to register, and 18 and under are discounted to $10. Register under the "Youth 18 and under" race for further information.

If you are interested in the 10k distance, please register for the Naples Youth Corp 10k Race. Please note: Mt. Misery available on 10k loop only - please sign up for the 10k if you are looking to challenge yourself!

What is the Naples Youth Corporation you may ask?? Please read the Mission and Vision for the Youth of our community:

"The Naples Youth Corporation's mission is to provide all youth of Naples and its surrounding communities a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment to explore opportunities in education, recreation, and personal growth. It owns property north of Academy street, across from the Naples High School building. This property will be developed for use by youth in Naples."

Visit Naples Youth Corp on Facebook for details of other events occurring following the race! It will be a great time to come down for a run and for an exploration of our beautiful community!

Run or walk as many 1.52 mile loops (yes loops)** as you wish! This is an active produce farm you will be running around! There will be hills, grass, dirt, mild ruts, some trail through the woods, and maybe even a little mud depending on the weather leading up to the event! You will be greeted by the resident golden retrievers and the many barn cats that are loved by their owners and cared for in the past by Colony Caregivers! There will be hand crafted medals for all and prizes for top performers!

Timing will be provided by HourGlass Works. There will be an aid station stocked with the usual fare and you are encouraged to bring your own aid and a comfy chair to set up along the course. Portapotties will be on site.

Fish's Farm Market will have their greenhouses open and it will likely be strawberry season so plan accordingly! Their berries are the best!

AND RAFFLES RAFFLES RAFFLES! Bring cash or use Venmo to try your luck at winning some amazing prizes!

Proceeds benefit Colony Caregivers. Colony Caregivers provides care for feral and colony cats in and around Ontario County. Many of the kitties at Fish's have been the result of unwanted mama-cats to be that get dropped off at their farm in the night and Colony Caregivers has helped provide spay/neuter and healthcare services to them and their babies so they can lead healthy lives!

Do you like loopy fun with runny friends where you get to see reindeer on every loop? Yes? Then Sleigh Me Ultras is for YOU! This event takes place at the Shortsville Reindeer Farm and features a one mile loop on foot friendly grass/trail terrain with very little elevation. There are some roots but nothing to climb over. You choose how many miles you want to "rack" up. There will be a fully stocked aid station located in the barn, pizzas at noon, and you are welcome to set up your own station with whatever else you may need. Yes, there really are reindeer! There's chickens too, and honey bees, and maple trees, and a dog named Clancy! Bring your friends and family!

The 48 Hour option starts Friday evening. All other races, you can choose to start at the top of any hour over the weekend! We mark loops by hand. We will mark your start/finish times on the board! Results get loaded on runsignup in spreadsheet format so you can verify your results!

Proceeds from Sleigh Me Ultras benefit ROCovery Fitness! https://www.rocoveryfitness.org/about.html

Check out the Shortsville Reindeer Farm here! https://www.shortsvillereindeer.com/

    Short and sweet FAQ's

Q: What will be at the aid station? A: chips, pretzels, candy, cheese quesadillas, pb&j, pickles, cookies, ramen, coffee, hot water, electrolyte drink (gatorade or skratch), and more! Personal pizzas at lunchtime on Saturday. Pasta or Taco bar on Sunday. I have an electric griddle and a big blackstone grill you are welcome to use as well.

Q: Can I set up my own aid station? A: YES! There's plenty of room to set up a tent and your own aid right along the course.

Q: What if the weather is yucky? A: There is a wonderful barn that we can camp under as needed.

Q: Can I access my car? A: YES! Your car will be right along the course within view.

Q: Can I bring celebratory alcohol? A: This isn't an alcohol free event but the proceeds from this supports ROCovery so I request that you don't promote it.

Q: Can I bring my dog? A: No

Q: Is there electricity to charge my devices? A: YES!

Q: Is there a shower? A: No. There is a hose with potable water if you don't mind cleaning up in front of everyone.

Q: Is there professional timing? A: No. We will mark our own loops and myself and others will try to ensure you don't miss any marking. Results are loaded to runsignup in spreadsheet format for verification if you need it.

Q: Can I really start anytime? A: YES! You may start any race at the top of any hour. We will mark your start time on the board.

Q: What time can I show up on Friday? A: Please don't show up before 2:00. If 48 Hour participants need more time, please email me to request and we will work it out but know that I will be busy preparing for you.

Got more questions? Ask away! I'm here for you!
