If you deferred your race from 2025 to 2026 you already received a separate email to help you register for your race.
Before registering for the event please make sure the date works for you as well as make sure you ALL of your information in RunSignUp is correct and up to date, especially email address and mailing address. Please include your apartment number when you register. If your mailing address is not correct this will hinder you getting your bib on time for the race once you register. You can change your address for the race once you register, you need to do so by February 1 for bibs that are going to be mailed out. Please have your bib sent to another location if you have trouble getting your mail. Having your email address up to date will help in you receiving important messages about the race.
The deadline for registration if you want your bib to me mailed to you is February 1, 2026.
If you register after February 1 your bib may or may not be mailed to you. You will hear from us if your bib is being mailed or not. We will have dates, times and location for bib pickup if you register after February 1.
Register by March 1 to ensure your shirt size.
There will be a $10 charge for all bib transfers until March 1. There will be no bib transfers after March 1. All transfers can be done online through your RunSignUp account. Remember if you transfer after bibs have been mailed it is your responsibility to get the bib from the previous registrant.
You will have until March 1 and be charged $10 to defer your race until 2027 if you have an emergency. You will not be able to defer after March 1. All deferrals can be done online through your RunSignUp account. Remember if you defer you have to register in 2027 or lose it. There is a 1 time deferral.
Please remember No Refunds!
Registration closes for good on March 25, 2026 or when we reach our max capacity, whichever comes first. Please make sure you register in time so you don't miss out. No exceptions.
STROLLERS/BIKES/ROLLER BLADES
Our insurance company has recommended the policy below:
Due to the volume of participants and to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Belmar 5 runners and the children, the course is restricted to registered runners, wheelchair division athletes & official race personnel. No children under 8 years old are allowed on the race course in any type of baby strollers/joggers or baby carriers. Do not have children or other family members jump in to finish with you. Unregistered participants, unauthorized vehicles, baby strollers/joggers, roller blades, in-line skates, skateboards, pets and bicycles are prohibited in the race and will be removed from the race course. Bib numbers must be visible on all participants. Only the registered runner will be permitted to cross the finish line. No backpacks will be allowed. We ask your cooperation.
We will once again be offering rewards for team and individual fundraisers. So don't forget to set up a fundraiser and create or join a fundraising team!!
