The JC Valentine's Half Marathon, 10K, 5K takes place in Lincoln Park, a place that is not only historic, it’s beautiful!!! We are proud and excited to hold the 3rd Annual running event to support an incredible non-profit organization, Sustainable Jersey City.

We’ve created an unforgettable and improved course that includes paved, unrestricted roads, bridges, paths, a lake, and historic monuments. This is going to be a great event that we’re sure will be around for years to come.

LOCATION

• 1 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304 (Water Fountain)

Course (certified measured course)

• (Half) 4 loops of a 3.27 mile course.

• (10K) 2 loops of a 3.1 mile course

• (5K) 1 loop of a 3.1 mile course

Water Stations

• There will be water stations about every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course. Besides water, there will be Gatorade and gels.

Timing

• Live timing including a split per loop!

• Live tracking app for friends and family to watch your progress during the race. Also, you can view afterward.

Technical T-shirt & Bib

• Male & Female cuts; A4 Technical Running Shirts for each participant.

• Personalized bib (must register 4 weeks prior) commemorative bib thereafter.

Finishers Medal & Awards

• Die Cast Medal with full-color ribbon

• Awards/Plaques for Top 3 overall Male and Female (All distances)

Food & Beverages

• Post Race bagels, cream cheese spreads, organic jelly, and peanut butter.

• Race Day Packet Pick-up: 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 am

• Bring picture I.D.

• You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.

• Baggage Check-in: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 am

• Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.

• You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area.

RACE START: 11:00am.

(Final decision on start time announced on week of event. Check for email & on website)

• Preliminary Results: posted at around 10:30 a.m.

• Awards Ceremony: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Remember, there are no transfers, no credits, no refunds. Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race. Only in this case may you transfer your entry to another event.

Join us for the 29th Annual Saint Dominic Academy Spring Thaw 5K!

Support Athletics at the Academy while enjoying a fun run (or walk!). All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.

Your participation does more than just get you across the finish line—it directly powers the SDA Athletic Fund. Every registration fee and sponsorship dollar goes toward upgrading team equipment, providing travel opportunities, and expanding the competitive programs that define the student-athlete experience at SDA. By running with us, you are ensuring our athletes have the tools they need to train harder, play safer, and represent our school with pride.

Day of Registration and Packet Pick-Up:

Online registration is open through race day; however, race-day registration will be $45. Please note that t-shirts are limited for day-of registrants.

Bib and t-shirt pick-up begins at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the run.

It's the 1st Annual 5K for Pizza: Jersey City!

Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026 for a deliciously fun run (or walk!) along the scenic Jersey City waterfront. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just in it for the 'za, this flat and fast course is perfect for all paces. Then, cross the finish line and head straight to our post-race festival, where every participant is rewarded with some of the best local pizza around!

Each registration includes:

🍕 Two (2) full-size slices of pizza

Craving more? You can add a third slice during the checkout process for a small extra charge.

(Heads up: extra slices won't be available for purchase after you complete registration or on race day!)
