Saturday Morning Adult Group Long Runs are brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.
Interested in weekend group runs led by a coach, but aren't able to attend week-day training classes? Sign up for the best plan for you with our supported Saturday morning group runs! These runs are included for current registered trainees, so only sign up for this if you are NOT in a current training class. These run packages do not include a training plan or coach planned workout.
The Saturday morning group runs will be held at 7:00am April through October and at 7:30am (due to daylight hours) November through March. Location will vary weekly with several Triangle area spots (Umstead, ATT, numerous greenways, and more. Coach will lead everyone through a dynamic warm-up, take attendance (before & after for safety), talk through the route & run directions, and be out on the route during the run. Supported run is 2 hours. Some hydration & fueling will be provided, but be sure to bring additional to ensure you have enough.
Cost of the class is $65 for 3 months, $120 for 6 months, or $230 for 1 year. Can register at any time: no deadline.
Cost includes: 1 coach-led group run (including warm-ups) per week, email access to the coach throughout your registered plan period, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), weekly email with Saturday run route, and hydration & fueling at each run.

Winter 2025/2026 Full & Half Marathon Training in Holly Springs is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.
The class is 16 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train for a full or half marathon: be it their first or as a veteran runner looking to improve their race time. All levels and paces are welcome!
The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 16 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training & strength training workouts, and coach supported Saturday group long runs.
Cost of the class is $85 if you register by 11/16/25. Registration cost from 11/17 - 12/21 is $90. Deadline to register is 12/21. No refund and no deferral if you drop the class after registering.

Holly Springs Race Against the Sun is back for our third year! Join us for an epic 24 hour, 12 hour, Marathon, Half Marathon, and 4 Miler race. With 24hr 6person, 12hr day time 4person relay options available RATS has something for everyone! The course will be a 4.167 mile trail loop that runners will get to experience all the beauty Bass Lake and Sugg Farm has to offer! This is not a Last Man Standing event! The distance of the course is meant to be able to practice for your next Last Man Standing event and for easy pacing for our athletes. If you complete a full loop every hour, in 12 hours you will have completed 50 miles, and in 24 hours you will have completed 100 miles. SPRING is a wonderful time of year in the state of North Carolina: the temperatures begin to warm, the days get longer, the sun shines brighter, and the TRADITION of the hometown Holly Springs "NC Spring Classic" takes place! This local event encompasses all levels of runner and has distance options of 5k, 8k and 16k.
The race starts and finishes on Main St., the perfect setting in the heart of downtown! The course takes you on a running tour through the most scenic sections of "The Springs."
2026 will be the 7th running of the NC Spring Classic, and we can't wait! Grab your friends and join us!
Note: the 8k is a solid pour! -just like we fill your pint glass at the Runner's Clubhouse in Pace Yourself! It measures just a hair over 5 miles...so, when your watch hits 4.9 miles, keep going...and know you're getting bonus steps!
16 Note: From approximately miles 5.75 to 7.75, the surface is soft - a wide, compact mulch trail around BASS LAKE.

Start and finish are on Main St., right in front of Pace Yourself Run Company. Portable bathrooms are located in the rear parking lot of the car wash on Main St.

Strollers are allowed, but for safety, we do ask that you line up toward the rear at the start. As much as we love dogs and pups, sorry...they are not allowed.

This event will be capped at 500 participants
The race will continue until 9:45 am. This will provide all runners a two 2.25+ hour time frame to complete the course.

PARKING
A parking map can be found at the top of this page under EVENT INFO. We strongly encourage that race participants park at Womble Park, 1201 Grigsby Ave, and walk a short 1/2 mile to the start on Main St. Due to Springs Fest, downtown parking will be extremely limited. Bathrooms are available at Womble Park and at the start (portable toilets are located in the rear parking lot of the car wash on Main St.) Please note: Parking at the Library and Cultural Center will be unavailable due to the weekly Farmer's Market.

The overall 1st place winner will be awarded for both male & female runners in the 5k, 8k and 16k. In addition, male and female overall 1st in age group awards for the 5k, 8k and 16k will be given in the following categories:

Summer 2026 Adult Speed Training in Holly Springs is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.
The class is 12 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train to run faster at shorter distances (i.e. 5K/10K or shorter). All levels and paces are welcome!
Cost of the class is: $80 if you register by 5/3. Price increases to: $85 if you register 5/4-5/24. Deadline to register is: 5/24. No refund or class credit if you drop the class after registering.
If you have financial difficulty in affording a training class, please contact us. We have a donation program that can help out.
Cost includes: 12-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group run workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), training class shirt, strength training plan, coach-led Saturday group long runs, 15% discount on merchandise (shirts, hats) at The Running PTs, and weekly tips and running information from your coach and The Running PTs to supplement your knowledge.

Program dates: May 10, 2026 - August 1, 2026. Group training will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30AM-6:30AM, and there are group long runs with all summer adult classes on Saturdays at 7:00AM-9:00AM. The class will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays rotating between: Pace Yourself Run Company (242 S Main Street, Suite 102, Holly Springs 27540), Womble Park (300 Stinson Avenue, Holly Springs, and the Holly Grove Middle School track (1401 Avent Ferry Road, Holly Springs). Saturday run locations vary weekly and rotate throughout the Triangle area.

Cost of the class is $65. No refund and no deferral if you drop out of the class after registering. Please do not register if you're unsure of your child's schedule and have a potential conflict with another activity. No class switches after registering.
Cost includes: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, and a training shirt.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.
TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. The 10th Annual Holly Springs Half Marathon brings you race distances of Half Marathon, 10k & 5k. Whether you are a seasoned runner or hoping to complete your first distance race, you’ll absolutely love these course options. It offers a little bit of everything…from rolling hills to fast flats…from open neighborhood roads to greenways and down Main Street. The Holly Springs Half Marathon, 10k & 5k races introduces runners to the best that our town has to offer.
All 3 races start from Ting Park, the home of Holly Springs Salamanders’ baseball stadium, tennis & pickleball, and Wake FC soccer located at the North Main Athletic Complex. Runners will begin their journey just outside the stadium and have a fast down hill start, onto Sportsmanship Way and approach N. Main St. Crossing Main St., for the first mile all runners will be challenged, and rewarded, by the rolling hills of Anchor Creek as they approach the entrance to Middle Creek Greenway.
From here, the 3 races split with the Half Marathon runners heading south through the neighborhoods of Bridgewater, Windcrest, Sunset Ridge, Veterans Park, Jones Park, through the historic district and down Main St., and into Womble Park. A figure-eight loop through Womble Park will have you doubling back along the same route back to the entrance of the Middle Creek Greenway at about mile 7.2. The next 5 miles are along the greenway with turn-arounds at both ends before re-joining Anchor Creek Way for the last mile back to the finish line.
The 10k and 5k courses enter the Middle Creek Greenway from Anchor Creek Way just short of mile 1 for the respective races. At the junction of the access ramp, The 10k makes a hairpin right turn and first heads south wandering along Middle Creek to the aid-station near the Wood Creek development for a turn-around and a return north to the next turn-around at Sunset Lake Road. The 5k course also heads down the access ramp to the greenway, but first heads north to the turn-around at Sunset Lake. Both courses turn-around at Sunset Lake and return south to the junction proceeding up the ramp back to Anchor Creek Way for the last mile to the Finish line.
