Winter 2025/2026 Full & Half Marathon Training in Apex is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.

The class is 16 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train for a full or half marathon: be it their first or as a veteran runner looking to improve their race time. All levels and paces are welcome!

The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 16 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training & strength training workouts, and coach supported Saturday group long runs.

Cost of the class is $85 if you register by 11/16/25. Registration cost from 11/17 - 12/21 is $90. Deadline to register is 12/21. No refund and no deferral if you drop the class after registering.

Program dates: November 23, 2025 - March 15, 2026. (NO CLASS on: 11/26, 12/24 and 12/31) Group training will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:15PM-7:15PM, and there are group long runs with all winter adult classes on Saturdays at 7:30AM-9:30AM. The class will meet on Mondays & Wednesdays rotating locations among: Hunter Street Park (1250 Ambergate Station, Apex, NC 27502), Apex Nature Park (2600 Evans Road, Apex 27502), Mills Park Middle School track (441 Mills Park Drive, Cary 27519), and Koka Booth/Symphony Lake Greenway (8001 Regency Parkway, Cary 27518). Regarding the rotating locations: Hunter Street Park: at least 1 class every week will be here, then rotating among: Apex Nature Park, Mills Park Middle School track & Koka Booth. Saturday run locations vary weekly and rotate throughout the Triangle area.

(NO CLASS on 11/27) Group training will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30AM-6:30AM, (EXCEPTION: the last 2 weeks of December class will meet on Mondays & Wednesdays to avoid class on holidays, so on 12/22, 12/24, 12/29, and 12/31) and there are group long runs with all winter adult classes on Saturdays at 7:30AM-9:30AM.. The class will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Davis Drive Park (1610 Davis Drive, Cary 27519). Saturday run locations vary weekly and rotate throughout the Triangle area.

All paces are welcome — you may run, jog, or walk.

Security will be enforced at every race to ensure our safety. Please leave any belongings you are not running with in your car or in a secure place. We are not responsible for personal items.

Spring 2026 Kids 5K training in Cary is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.

Class is 8 weeks long, meeting once per week, and is geared toward kids aged 8-14 years old. The goal of the class is to have fun, get healthy, and work their run endurance up to running a 5K at the end of the season. ALL levels & paces are welcome! Kids will be grouped in smaller pace groups after a timed mile so they can train with similar paces. Class will be capped at 40 registrants.

Cost of the class is $70. No refund and no deferral if you drop out of the class after registering. Please do not register if you're unsure of your child's schedule and have a potential conflict with another activity. No class switches after registering.

Cost includes: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, a training shirt, and an end of season medal after running the 5K in class.
